Yes, he is fighting on Usyk card. Opponent would not be a top 30 guy, but would be decent opponent.

Many good fighters turn down Hrgovic offer. Like kownacki, Charles Martin, Szpilka, Fedosov, Junior Fa...

I’ve read that Hrgović is currently in the midst of relocating from Croatia to the US, specifically Miami. He’s apparently scheduled to appear on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk’s headline event on May 18th in Chicago. He is obviously going to be fighting a DAZN stablemate, which narrows down the list of his potential opponents.

I guess if you were to review the heavyweights affiliated with DAZN and then exclude from the list of fighters with bouts already lined-up or have only just fought, you'll probably identify his next opponent.

I see only Whyte as a DAZN fighter, all the others are bussy already .... but Whyte isnt for sure

Usyk - Takam, Povetkin maybe Hunter, Hrgovic - Duhaupas
- Helenius
- Szpilka
- Washington
- Jennings

and i be satisfied with the opponent

If Hrgovic take any of this - Kownacki
- Parker
- Rivas
i would be impressed :yay:

Eddie Hearn today detailed Dillian Whyte's potential opponents' for his July fight-date, with Agit Kabayel and Manuel Charr being the favourites to face the Brit.

There’s allegedly an outside chance that Luis Ortiz and Alexander Povetkin could be picked also, but the Cuban is a PBC fighter and the Russian is already supposedly scheduled to fight on the Usyk undercard.

I personally suspect that Manuel Charr will become Dillian’s next opponent.

For the record, Dillian Whyte is a free agent and always has been. He competes on Eddie Hearn’s events on a fight-by-fight basis only. In fact, the Brit has recently been negotiating deals with ESPN and the PBC, since DAZN won't offer him one (due to their alleged "established trust and track-record").

Filip Hrgović will definitely not be facing Dillian Whyte anytime soon.

Filip Hrgović is likely to be matched with the likes of the winner of the Dave Allen vs. Lucas Browne, the winner of David Price vs. Kash Ali, Nick Webb or Tom Little. He'll face that type of opponent.

I wouldn’t expect him to be matched against anyone better than that, but I’d delighted if I was wrong about this.

Price and Allen are possible for Hrgovic july fight in Britain. Kuzmin is also possible for his july fight.
He will definitly not fight Webb or Little.
He beat Little im his third fight.

For the May card if no one from the 1 - 50 ranked fighter as a opponent for Hrgovic stands, i would see him with Alfonso, Ugonoh or Zhang from the 50 -100 ranked list

Hearn needs to get his cheque book out.
Kuzmin or Kabayel would be awesome.

I'm hoping it gets beyond the rumor stage. So far nothing on Hrgovic's BoxRec schedule:

I wouldn't want to see Dave Allen fight Hrgovic. He caught a drubbing from Yoka and this would be more of the same. I don't find that entertaining and Dave needs to take better care of his brain. Lucas Browne can punch hard but it won't be a continuous tattoo like Hrgovic would subject him to.

Nick Webb's loss to Kamil Sokolowski removes him from the viable opponent list. Hrgovic already beat Tom Little. A fight against David Price might appeal to him.

He look for big fights, not with someone who has 7 fights. Opponent will be someone like Dawejko, Laron Mitchell or that rang fighters

Takam probably is waiting for Usyk. Romanov, Kabayel, Kuzmin will likely choose some easier targets, as they also try to rise in the rankings. Hughie has nothing to lose already. As Hammer, Molina and Breazeale.

Forget about Molina. He pulled put from Parker fight because he asked too much money, and Hearn didnt want to pay that.
Best fight in my options, Hammer, Takam, Charles Martin, Fedosov
