Szymański declared before the fight that if he will lose he will retire. Talarek has a full time job, he works in a coal mine. round 1: Talarek down twice. round 2: Szymański down once, Talarek down twice. round 3: Szymański down twice. round 4: Szymański down twice. round 5: Szymański down once and the ref waved it off.
Have you ever seen a fight with a higher amount of knockdowns and a higher amount of knockdowns per round?
Bakole landed a lot, lot of clean punches, Wach looked hurt multiple times but he was not knocked down. The ref stopped it after 13 clean punches in a row. Bakole looked very impressive, sharp, good jab, strong, fast, Wach looked worse than vs Szpilka and much worse than vs Miller though. Bakole looked like a top 15 fighter. Bakole receives the belt of International HW Champion of Poland from Adam Kownacki's hands.
Boxing is entertaining, just make the fights 50/50. this card is almost whole 50/50 fights.

A card without UD, only SDs, MDs and KOs + no home scoring: Undefeated in 42 fights Damian Jonak was in a very close fight vs Andrew Robinson (could go either way, i had 77-75 Jonak), Robinson wins by SD despite that the fight was held in Jonak's home region and he alone sold 2000 tickets for this event. It's so uncommon in boxing, unfortunately.

Agree, the fight was pretty close and judjes easealy could give it for Jonak. But early this night USA veteran Shondale Winters was robbered in a fight against homeboy Jezerski so there was one home decision

But still a gret show consisted of pretty competitive fights. No mismatches at all besidesa a main event (which was still matchup on paper)

imo it could go either way + Winters should be deducted a point for fouls, rabbit punches and throwing punches after break command, i had it 76-75 Jeżewski (i have included a point deduction but the point actually wasn't deducted so without that i had it 76-76). i wouldn't call it a home decision, it's just how the refs have seen it. Winters won his rounds more decisively but in boxing we score round by round, every round as a separate story so despite the fact that Winters ''visually'' was better and his punches had a greater impact, i can see it being scored for Jeżewski.

Szymański vs Talarek was absolutely crazy war - realy classic massacre like Gatty vs Ward/Katsidis vs Earl style . Must see by any boxing fan

yeah + it was a fight of fighters with a very different background, from different world. young boy from a rich family trained by American trainer vs an old coal miner. it could be actually stopped by the ref multiple times, in every round, but he let it go, good job. unfortunately there will be no rematch because Szymański, as promised, has retired.

you just made my sunday mornings - nice scrap!
main event highlights https://www.polsatsport.pl/film/robert- ... i_6857266/ Parzęczewski made a HUGE progress, like 1-2 years ago i would never think that he could ever defeat any top 50 fighter. he was previously offered to fight Kovalyov (he was in WBOs top 15 in LHW) now he switched to SMW, he was offered to fight Callum Smith, he rejected because he's still improving, he's dedication to the sport is impressive, he had almost no amateur career, he's still 25, i was not a fan of him but he is one of the top Polish prospects now.

Szymanski vs Talarek was an entertaining scrap indeed. Talarek should be given a special credit, cause at the beginning it seemed, that he would be stopped, yet he was able to equal the fight and dominate eventually. Szymanski was totally exhausted in the final 2 rounds. Talarek's body work did a lot. The stoppage was pretty fair, as Szymanski looked maybe not too damaged, but very tired and unable to fight back more.
And no surprise about Chudinov being stopped, he has never been anything really good.

but he was never stopped except vs Eubank in round 12 and it was premature anyway. he was not good but it was hard to look great vs him

And Wach's chin proved to be freakish yet again. Maybe he would have collapsed after a couple more punches though. He ate some scary shots with remaining on his feet.
