Who would win this match at welterweight between prime Marlon Starling and Pipino Cuevas in a 15 round bout? Would Starling out-box Cuevas for a decision win or batter him for a late round stoppage? Would Cuevas try to stop him with his left hook?

Starling on points for me

Cuevas taking a beating on bad Boxing History Matchups. Starling would win.

Starling should win this by wide decision. However, somehow, sometimes things always seemed to derail for Starling. Still would pick him though.

Starling by easy decision, easier than if Cuevas fought McCrory, or even Curry.

Starling its for sure. Funny fighter starling but at his best had a great defence and would be cute enough to pick up rounds from cuevas.

He also liked to fight in close. People forget what a wrecking machine cuevas was before hearns. Weston wasn't quite as good as Marlon, but he was very handy and unappreciated these days. I think cuevas harder shots might net him a disputed decision.

Cuevas is not going to catch Marlon. A frustrating night. for Pipino.
