1 year ban for doping violations, I think he appealed but it got rejected.

Cheating pudendum, no doubt cheated his way through the amateurs and continued to do so in the pro ranks, I long for the day to see him lying starched on the canvas, a wee twitch of the leg wouldn't go amiss

Plus - I really thought he was quite a poor amateur..... okay poor is the wrong word, but everytime I saw him fight I cannot believe his record at the big tournaments.

he got the benefit of the doubt in so many fights, he couldve easily lost like 5 or 6 fights between his worlds and olympic run. i also thought his wife/gf got a very generous decision vs a chinese in her olympic final
he got knocked out in wsb a few times i think, once by savon and once by ali eren demirezin. seems a bit fragile imo.

I believe he got banned for missing 3 tests. Dont think he ever tested positive.

He's through. Too much precious time away and without PED's.

Rio is correct , it was for missed tests not failed tests! To many people this may be the same thing . But ( and believe me I am no Yoka fan... he got way too many gifts as an amateur) the missed test were via the French Olympic boxing set up , when he had already turned pro and had relocated to the USA. So probably more of an admin thing than anything else ... because as a pro boxer I don’t believe you have to sign up to any drug testing program ? ( correct me if I am wrong )

yoka is a waste of time
skipped his testing and pleaded innocent ...
before that he took a huge wad of cash from a french media firm for fights that havent been delivered.
put him in with usyk for fun

I want to see him fight as a pro. There are a few guys with beef against him due to bad decisions back in the Am's.
Best scenario for me is Joyce Vs Yoka

Amazing that given he's been banned, had only five fights and hasn't fought for nearly a year that he's in the WBC's top 15.
Actually, maybe not so amazing as we're talking about the WBC here. Somehow he's advanced from being no. 24 in October last year.

"Joyce, I don't look at him...I think he's in love with me...he's always talking about me...he's not going to do nothing in pro boxing," said the entitled cheating dislikable molly-coddled frog.
For context, the video was published in February 2018, has 17 likes, 15 dislikes, and 11 comments. One of which is "Tony Yoka is the Andre Ward of the heavyweight division, his time will come" which I can only assume was left by Yoka's Mum.

he got way too many favourable decisions in the ams for me to not think the aiba were trying to orchestrate him being a golden boy for them or something. his wife got a very lucky decision in the olympic final too
he talks crap about joyce a lot, after winning in the semifinals of the olympics (which he again easily couldve gotten the lose) he also said he wanted to fight joyce in the final because joyce is just so easy for him
