Looks like David Allen will be fighting on the O2 undercard July 20th.
Who will Allen be facing? Personally I think it will be Allen v Price and for the British heavyweight title.

Allen v Price, will not be for the British but likely will be for an international or similar

Yes the fight against Price is the one that appeals to me or maybe Hughie Fury or even Joe Joyce .
Think he has the beating of Price but not the other two .

Price is an interesting fight. I wouldn't object to him earning a few quid vs Shannon Briggs. It would be good fun, and both are basically celebs. By allens own admission he doesn't take the sport too seriously.

I think if I were in his position I’d be asking Matchroom to manoeuvre me towards a WBA regular fight.

He could fight for a British title one day.... maybe within the year.

Get him Charr, even if he loses it will help sell a fight between Charr and Whyte or Chisora or whoever

It has to be Price, probably with a vacant WBA Inter Rail title on the line so there’s a ranking at stake. A very winnable fight for Allen.
On the subject of belts, the Browne fight was over 12 rounds but there wasn’t any belt on the line? Seems rather unusual.

Got to be Price for me.

Allen chins Price, if Kash didn't go cannibal-mode he was going to stop Pricey!

Nonsense, Ali was on queer Street and about to get stopped.
Allen-Price is a solid match up. I'll go for Pricey.

Another warm up against Sexton, then if he gets past him- Gorman for the WBC Inter silver belt.
Style wise, I like Allen/Gorman.
I think Price would catch Allen early, as he is still shipping too many punches and would get battered trying to find range.

If he plays his cards right, I wouldnt be shocked ti see him in a world title fight next year.
Beats Price and tgen another over a top 30 guy like Charr. On top of his recent wins over Webb and Browne, fighters have earned shots in the past with less.

Yup. that's why he feasted on Pricey's chest. I'm still laughing at that fiasco!

He didn't say that did he?? That's fuckin ridiculous!
I was astounded that Crolla ended up in the same ring as Loma and Crolla was an ex world champion! Letting AJ loose on Allen should be followed up,with criminal charges!!

Well, no it isn’t ridiculous. Context is important, find the video and listen to how the subject came up and what was actually said.

As is mentioned above if you see what was actually said it’s clear Eddie isn’t planning Allen v AJ.
He was responding to someone (I think Allen said it jokingly himself) saying Allen is 2 fights away from AJ. Eddie laughed and then said well to be fair if he beat Browne, Chisora and Parker then he probably would be there or thereabouts.

I need to stop having beers whilst watching the boxing, - I am sure I felt Kash was having success the rounds before he bit him - should be a good scrap for July Allen/Price!
