After a three year break from Boxing due to well known drug problems Castello came back but lost a close 4 round points decision to Ian Nappa.

It was a close competative fight but since then I've heard nothing about Danny fighting again. Which is a shame as he has a second change to give Boxing a go.

The Napa fight proved he still had something left and it was a tough comeback fight to, Napa although coming of a break himself is a talented fighter.

Has anyone got any updates on Danny?

I've got to disagree with some of that.

He looked to me like he had very little left to offer. I know he was very rusty, but even so, there didn't appear to be anything there at all. It's a shame because if he's put all his problems behind him, then he deserves a whole heap of success. What he doesn't deserve is to come back just to be a reasonable name on any young fighters record, which unfortunately, is what i think he could become.

I wouldn't want to see him lost to the sport entirely, but i still hope he stays away, and finds himself some level of success outside of the ropes.
