Night of the HW Oldies

On May 4, and on the same card at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hollywood , we have golden oldies in the ring:
49 Y/O Elieser Castillo against 54 Y/O Oliver McCall
48 Y/O Ray Austin against youngster 29 Y/O Ivan Dychko
There doesn't seem to be a headliner on the card. I guess getting a license isn't as difficult as one would think (hope).
Who the hell would pay to see that??!!

They need to bring back exhibition/non-sanctiond bouts. Jack Dempsey fought MANY Exhibition bouts following his official retirement. Muhammed Ali fought Lyle Alzado in an exhibition bout in 1979. Rocky Graziano and Tony Zale fought an exhibition bout in 1973,Sugar Ray Robinson fought Willie Pep in an exhibition bout,Floyd did an exhibition bout after the McGregor fight, Bert Cooper fought that bare knuckle guy in an exhibition bout,Oscar DeLaHoya fought in an exhibition bout.
Was it him or someone else against Shaq..? Whatever, point is,They need to bring this concept back. It would be Good For Boxing. Bring back guys like Andre Ward,Kelly Pavlik,Edison Miranda,Peter Quillan,Andy Lee,Chris Byrd,Zab Judah,John Duddy,Joe Cahlzahge,Sultan Ibragomov,Bronco McKart,Pauli Malagnaggi,Mickey Ward,Miguel Cotto,David Tua,Charlie Zelenoff, etc, etc, and pit them against Proper forminable opposition in 5 round exhibition bouts. It'd be dynamically entertaining !

I wonder who will be the chief sponsor for this card?
Saga?
Sanatogen?
Ableworld Mobility Aids Co?

Nah.
Dempsey, Ali, Alzado, Graziano, SRR and Pep all took part in exhibition matches and now they are all dead - coincidence?
Exhibition matches are obviously dangerous and should be banned!

McCall-Castillo is like absolutely unnecessary rematches of Holmes against Bonecrusher and Weaver. It was kinda sad to watch (Holmes knocked Weaver out in a spectacular fashion though).
Dychko was inactive and now he's back against an opponent, who will provide him no foundation for the development anyway.

Is Botha still fighting? He and Briggs should have rematched, that was a great fight.
