WBC giving Lomachenko an easy way to snare that undisputed title, at the expense of another Brit.

The ESPN crew is already slobbering over this one.

Lomachenko deserved to get the chance to become the undisputed champion. Period.

Lomachengo has ATG potential. Wasting his prime years on Crolla and Campbell is wrong move. At least title is on the line

Berchelt and Davis are still 130 pounders. Until or unless they move up, neither are lightweight contenders.

Commey might be the best at 135, at least powerwise, but he doesn't seem mobile enough to deal with Lomachenko's angles and movement.

Commey would probably spend 12 rounds a step and a half behind Lomachenko.

Lopez? Too early to say.

Wasn’t really forced - Crolla was Mandatory and Commey was injured for Unification.

Think it was more how much Arum had to pay Crolla irked him.

Sure, but it shouldnt be by devouring the likes of a creampuff like Campbell. I'm sure the hypemeisters will be trying to play it up as the "showdown" between 2 gold medalists from the 2012 Olympics, but the sad fact is that Luke's pro career hasnt panned out as hoped. Luke Campbell should be PAYING to watch Loma fight, instead of GETTING paid to fight AGAINST him.

campells actually a top 5ish lw who is really no lower then commey, thats the problem with 135, loma should ask for a fight vs tr stablemate berchelt...that cud be possible to make

mikey is gone from lw and tanks side dont want it yet, very litle realistic interesting options for loma unfortunately

Loma's career is getting boring. Top Rank is unable or unwilling to get him in there with Garcia or Berchelt who are his most compelling opponents by far.

fight berchelt at 130 or a catchweight, better then collecting belts vs b level

berchelts with top rank, that fight can be made

I would argue the Berchelt fight should have been made before Loma made the jump from 130.

And I bet either Garcia or Berchelt would take a fight at 135 if the money was right. Or Loma could fight Garcia at 140 since there are no decent challengers at 135 anyway.

Loma, his father and Klimas are resistant to him moving up to 140. Even for Pacquiao.

I think Garcia has lost interest in Lomachenko anyways. Even if it was somehow arranged at 140.

Mikey may have become obsessed with seeking vindication at welterweight.

His no-show performance against Spence undoubtedly stings and he's still eyeing the opportunity to show that he belongs.

A defeat to Lomachenko beforehand would make Garcia a box office afterthought.
