Anybody have the inside info on who Scott Dann's first title defence of the British Middleweight title will be against? He is scheduled to fight at the end of the month.
Thinking on it, it will probably be a non-title affair. Apparently, he was impressive vs Bendall. I would like to see more of him, I am still a sceptic but that is probably due to the limited times I have seen him fight.

I'm looking forward to his first defence too. Bit disappointed to read a quote of Dann saying he was looking for an easy first defence, but maybe one's ok.
Should he keep winning at British level, seeing as he's a Chris Sanigar boxer, a European title shot could occur.
The clash I would just love to see is Dann defend against Gary Lockett. It would be one hell of a bruising encounter
Sadly, what are the chances ?

Sorry got a bit side-tracked , I read somewhere Allan Gray could be in line. Non-puncher, good boxer and durable. Should fit the bill.

I have not seen the fight with Bendall but i like Dann, he is a quite a neat Boxer...i recall he was giving Eastman a few problems for the first two rounds before Howard unloaded the heavy artillery.

Cheers J. Good article.
If they're serious about defending before Xmas something should be
announced soon.

I think Gary Lockett against Dann would be a great bout however unlikely it is to happen, but if it did, who wins???

I like Dann to win to be honest, think he is underated and the fight against Eastman taught him a lot.
Also he smashed Bendall in what many saw as a 50-50 fight.

Scott always comes across as a decent bloke, too. I've bought tickets off his dad, Barry, but I've never so much as bumped into Scott, and I only live about 5 minutes walk from him apparently. Still, at least we can assume from that that Scott lives right: as I spend most of my time in one the many excellent local boozers I'd be a bit worried if I did constantly bump into him.
