Emmanuel Rodriguez vs Naoya Inoue

Rodriguez defending his IBF Bantamweight title against Inoue this weekend in the WBSS SFs, cant believe Glasgow has the card, its mega, cant wait for this fight, I'm interested to see if Inoue will go rounds, I think he might but you just never know with that power, McDonnell and Payano 2 normally durable guys dispatched with ease, Inoue definitely carrying the power through the weights, that straight right to KO Payano was textbook stuff

I'm big on Rodriguez he's a tidy box/puncher, schooled Butler but had a tough night against Moloney, still had him nicking it but it was close and he faded after a great start, I'm thinking he gives Inoue his toughest test and give him a slight chance of winning but still got to go for Inoue to be too sharp and strong, brilliant body puncher, I doubt there's many Bantamweights that stop Rodriguez but with Inoue's power i'd fancy him to stop anyone, could be an early blow out or he could break Rodriguez down, who knows?

Rodriguez's entire reputation is a win over the distinctly sub world class Butler and a very close win Moloney...

.. On the other hand Japanese men are 0-20 in world title fights in Europe

Unless Inoue succumbs to some sort of Samson’s shorn locks transformation as a result of leaving Japan I expect that 0-20 record to be overcome. Emphatically.

I’ve learned not to doubt Naoya. I’m gonna revise my earlier prediction to a KO in less than 4. Basing this off rewatching Malonoey/Rodriguez and Inoue/Taguchi. His footwork goes under the radar because of how good everything else he does is.

Someone from Manny’s team pushed Shingo Inoue (Naoya’s Dad and trainer) in a big daft way, it was in the MTK gym up there. I think he’ll come to regret that.

He’s gonna blitz his body then nail a big pizza crunch and everyone in Glasgow is gonna love him.

I can't tell people enough, how much they need to watch his early fights. The Sano in particular, damaged hand lead him to putting on a fecking 1 show case in just his 3rd Pro bout

Rodriguez fought such a boring fight vs butler who was ready to go at several points. I hope Inoue punishes him for that and shows him how to deal with an overmatched opponent
