Alem Begic vs Benjamin Simon

Super Middleweight action this sunday on B/Nation, never heard of either man, looking through their records neither man has a win of note, Begic is unbeaten in 22 with 19 KOs so obviously a bit of a banger at low level, Simon is 27-3 with 26 early so this looks on paper like it wont go the distance, Simon has been stopped twice to the only good names on his record, Murat and Dmitry Chudinov

Begic vs Simon is now off and unbeaten Ukranian banger Serhii Bohachuk squares off with experienced former world title challenger Freddy Hernandez top of the bill, 8 round Middleweight contest I believe, never heard of Bohachuk or any of his opponents but he's KO'd all 13 men he's faced

Hernandez has fought a whos who of boxing over the last 18 years or so, 40 years old now but in decent form, gave Quigley a tough night by all accounts last time out, he has early career wins over the likes of Soto Karass, Carson Jones, Tackie, Corley, Collazo and Angulo, he was KO'd in 1 round in a world title challenge to Berto and has lost to the likes of Lara, Andrade, Delvin Rodriguez and Julian Williams so he has about as much top level experience of anyone around

I might record this but my word, BN are certainly stretching it by charging £12 a month for their current content.

Bohachuk stops Hernandez in the 5th, had him down in the 2nd with a cracking right cross and stopped him in the 5th with bodyshots, whipping in a right then a left downstairs decking Hernandez for the finish, surely Hernandez needs to finish now at 40, he's had a long hard career against the very best, he offered very little and Bohachuk bullied him and broke him down with constant pressure, look forward to seeing him again

Bohachuk looks a decent prospect at 154, enjoyed his variation to head & body and seems to carry decent power however he wasn't receiving much in return from a battle-worn Hernandez.

Thought Canton Miller was a little unlucky not to get a decision (or at least a draw) against Adrian Corona on the undercard. Tom Loeffler seemed like he had been on the sauce when that bird was interviewing him at the start of the show
