Ruiz hasn't really been cracked by a hard puncher- Brazeale has, that didn't go well

I don't know who has the better chin exactly, but Ruiz would be harder to drop because he has WAY better defense. Breazeale has virtually none.

We'll know after this fight I suspect.

Not really. They're not fighting each other, but I do expect Ruiz lasts longer against Joshua than Breazeale lasts against Wilder. I wouldn't be surprised if Breazeale is gone in 1.

Given Ruiz's superior skill set, he'll last longer (maybe) and I'm sure we'll see him get cracked sooner or later in this fight. We'll see how he takes it. What round he goes won't have an impact on my opinion on whether his chin is better than Breazeale's or not. It's how he reacts when he's tagged.

Well you'll find out quick with Breazeale because he'll get tagged almost immediately. If Wilder wants to he can walk right out of his corner at the opening bell and finish it. I personally hope he does. I would imagine it'd probably be the best thing for him coming off a draw to just wreck a guy like that. Breazeale is the perfect foil. Wilder is no world beater, but he's superior to Breazeale in every single way.
Breazeale has power, heart and grit. It's enough to get it done against some guys, against Wilder...it ain't gonna get him sh*t but beat up.

Unrelated note to the question, but for the record if Ruiz were to fight Breazeale I think i'd pick Ruiz to win by decision.

I'm looking at the AJ/Ruiz fight for a comp. Breazeale facing Wilder won't tell me anything about the question of their chins. Different animal with Wilder.

Yeah Breazeale has already faced AJ, and he lasted 3. Ruiz will go longer than that. Maybe not much longer, but he'll still be there at the end of the 3rd.

Really? Man I've almost completely forgotten that fight it seems. I was mixing it up with Eric Molina in my mind I guess

That doesn't happen to me I notice when discussing the early days of my Boxing fandom. Every detail of some of those fights is burned into my brain. To the point that I even remember where they were standing in the ring when a certain punch lands, and sh*t. But a lot of the current fights I only watch once usually so they don't tend to stand out in my mind as much.

Shows Wilder's power. Breazeale is one tough SOB. He proved that against AJ. He got caught with a perfect and powerful straight right on the button.

Breazeale took an absolute beating off of Ugonoh and came back to win. Ruiz hasn't fought anyone with significant power.

Are you trying to say Ugonoh is a more dangerous puncher than Joseph Parker? Wtf?
