Did he appear to be particularly weight drained on the scale?

Having watched it back he doesnt look to comfortable (however I have never seen the kid weigh in before so maybe just his look) then theres a long wait for the head to head where he looks alseep and I think the opponent knows something as he tries to say something as they walk away from the head to head.

Hope he is okay.

Up to a certain point, cutting weight is very safe. As soon as you venture into a sauna/put a sweat suit on/get in red hot baths... you're pushing your luck though.

Agreed mate, I certainly dont understand at this level why any cut other than what is lost during camp and decent nutrition. Hes fighting a journeyman that is of course if it is the case and not due to another reason

I don’t know what happened in this case maybe he was dehydrated either caused by poor fluid intake or maybe the trainer put him in a sauna if the latter is the case both boxer and trainer should have their licences withdrawn permanently simply because both boxer and trainer would have been told at their initial licence interview in front of their area council about the dangers of dehydration etc they would also have been told to never under any circumstances use a sauna to take weight off
