I still would like to see Baranchyk fight again he can fight! He can compete with anyone in the divisions, i could see Baranchyk defeating Maurice Hooker for his title in my opinion.

Taylor could've won this one much more easily... hit and not get hit is after all what boxing is all about... that was an inside war between two top10 fighters and both gave away defense for offense and took a massive amount of flush power shots to the head. I enjoyed the fight but i stand by my previous post.

Taylor is not hit and run type of fighter. Inside fighting is big and strong part of his game despite he is tall. Lot of tall fighters are good in close distance

You can draw Taylor into a slugfest - Baranchyk done it last night even when some rounds Taylor looked better hit/moving.

I see afterwards they said Baranchyk camp wasn’t ideal - switch of Trainer/not enough time to work on things etc.

Pretty sure if they wouldn’t hace been tied to contract they’d have pulled out the WBSS but didn’t want to end up legal minefield.

He was tough and kept fighting, but he was totally outboxed. No big success except the 5th round.

You could be right but we don't know that do we. Plenty of fighters are involved in a war and go on to have easy fights and more wars. Hopefully these two will be no different, and that Taylor will soon be able to Prograis his career even further :D

I grew up in his adopted hometown of Miami, OK. He's a favorite in the area for local boxing fans. I'd like to see him make some adjustments and get another title shot down the road. He's a fun fighter to watch.

If Matched up well, his high pace style will get him more title shots

That's always great when local fans get on the bandwagon of a guy like Baranchyk from overseas. Buffalo Run Casino in Miami does occasional Showtime cards as well. Amazing how many casinos on Indian reservations are becoming regional hotspots for the fight game!!

Okie boxing fans are good at adopting fighters from outside the US. When Maurice Hooker fought against then-unbeaten Alex Saucedo in OKC a while back, the crowd was so pumped I thought Saucedo might be a native Okie but found out he was born in Mexico and has only fought in Okla about a half-dozen times.

saucedo has lived there for 20 years since he was a little kid , he may as well be local

mexican fighters in general get good support in the usa from the latino crowds, whether mexican americans or mexicans. theres a very heavy nationalist aspect to there support

Okie fans love a good fight and since OK has never been a hotbed of boxing we’re happy to embrace any talented fighters in the region.

I believe Saucedo was raised in Oklahoma City even though he was born in Mexico. I remember reading an article about him on an OK website when he was on the rise.

He fought well. He scored an uncalled knockdown in the 5th. He finished strong too

His limitations are obvious. But hes fun to watch. Would like to see him fight figueroa
