Joey Dawejko in camp with AJ

Joey Dawejko had been sparring with AJ at training camp. I can't imagine how awesome Joey D feels to be in with the best HW on the planet!
Hopefully we'll see Dowejko in the ring soon! Always a warrior and always a great watch!

Got to be a useful learning experience for him. Or at least it should show him what sort of level he needs to be at.

Haha thanks guys! Having a great time here. I think the work is great and honestly just what he needs. They are treating me extremely well. I appreciate the experience. This is probly the 2nd best camp I was ever at. 1st if Wlad Klitschko in Austria. But this is right up there. His team are very nice and great people. And he is a great guy himself. We talk a lot. He’s very down to earth.

I'm sure you'll have an "I knocked AJ it in sparring" story to tell us soon like everyone else apparently has
But seriously, sounds like it's going well. Hopefully you pick up some good things to bring into the ring!

Would it not be more respectful to state that you didn't drop him hard and put the rumour to bed? Leaving it vague leaves one drawing the conclusion that the story is true.

If he were to do that, then he would be indicating that any time he
didn't deny a rumour, it
was true. He'd dig himself a big hole for the future.

You are right, of course, I was being naughty, fishing for confirmation. Professional sparring partners should be discrete. Fighters with bigger potential and ambitions should arguably consider speaking out to self promote, though.
