WAYNE ALEXANDER: WHAT NEXT?

Lands the punch of the year on Takaloo but it's all gone quiet? What's next for the Croydon Cruncher. What about a shot at Santos??? What about any kind of defence (title defence that is)?
I know Takaloo was hoping to return in December but I heard he called up SN and Dean Powell told him he hadn't been put on the Hatton bill. Looks like he is heading towards opponent status unless he gets chance to redeem himself against WA (about as much chance as Hatton v Witter coming off). Two losses on the trot, one by clean KO, you can basically forget about a certain promoter pushing you into decent fights.

I think Wayne is hoping to get on the Hatton bill as well!!
Takaloo was never really a sports network favourite, he was meant to be a stepping stone for thier golden boy Farnell..... but Takaloo, brilliantly, forgot to read the script..... what a night that was up in manchester!!
Wayne and Takaloo are never gonna get the star treatment from SN....

Get him in with Santos, I think he has a fair chance for a few rounds and its now or never.

Yeah was terrific... Farny coming out singing 'We are the champions' and giving it the biggun. Brought down a peg or two that night weren't he?
Tak's actually off of the December bill. He sprained his ankle while on holiday in Australia and has only just started running and not only that, his missus is expecting their second baby in about four weeks. He said that he can't
Desperate for a WA rematch though... said Wayne scored the boxing equivalent of a hole in one and he'd love the opportunity to get his own back. He doubts Wayne will bother though and said Wayne will just go on about how he's beat him once and is looking for bigger fish to fry (which, to be fair, is pretty much what Tak said about Farnell when Arnie called him out for a rematch).
I just told Tak to stick with it and see what crops up. I mean, look at Alexander's last three fights, knocked out, knocked down, hurt but wins with a wonder punch = potential WBO title shot. Funny old business.

Yeah, at 30+ he isn't going to get much better. He needs to look at either Santos or Simms, Ouma and Wright are a bit too good I'm afraid.
Indeed I would heavily favour Santos and Simms also, I like Wayne and I want to see him earn big money in a winnable fight (which Santos and Simms represent, although the win is unlikely). I cannot now see this happening with a domestic fight.
Perhaps an interesting thing would be to follow the Howard Eastman WBC development closely. Should Eastman win a vacant title, then that would be an alternative route.

I think Wayne would win a rematch, Takaloo sounds dellusional not giving wayne credit for the win "hole in one" my arse. Sorry to say it but every time Takaloo has lost there's been some excuse how about a simple "he beat me fair and square" that would be nice to hear.

Wayne's told me that he's on the Dec 11 bill at the Excel Arena, the same night that Danny goes for it in Vegas. That's all i know. I don't know who the opponent is yet.

must have been a look a like, Wayne has been in Ireland for the last few weeks!!!
December 11th is looking likely although FW hasnt announced... I heard its a non title match.... Wayne will be PISSED OFF big time.
Like takaloo before him, he wins a title then has to fight 8 or 10 rounders.
wouldnt happen to Warrens favourites
