In the non-televised lightweight opener, 30-year old Luis Gerardo Perez Salas (6-2, 1 KO), 136, of Puebla, Mexico scored a six-round unanimous decision over 21-year old Mack Allison IV (9-3-1, 7 KO), 133, of Baltimore, Maryland. Both men went for it from bell to bell, giving early arrivers a bonus for their ticket price. Salas was a step ahead most of the way and overjoyed at final scores of 59-55 across the board. The referee was Vic DeWysocki.

19-year old super middleweight Lorenzo Simpson (4-0, 3 KO), 165, of Baltimore, Maryland landed five southpaw left uppercuts, a pair of hooks, and then a right cross to bring a rapid end to the night for 30-year old Rafael Garcia (9-3, 6 KO), 169 ½, of Tucson, Arizona at 1:19 of round one. It was Garcia’s first knockout loss and the second first round stoppage for Simpson.
While Garcia kept his feet, referee Harvey Dock saw the inevitable and jumped in to save Garcia further punishment. Simpson has made two straight starts at the MGM and from the sound of things is bringing some local fans out to see him.
A multiple time national Jr. amateur champion, Simpson opted to turn professional despite being viewed as a strong contender to make the 2020 US Olympic team.
The televised portion of the card was streamed in the US on DAZN, promoted by Matchroom Boxing.

Pretty good girl match. Sanchez looks like she's getting the better of McCaskill.

In Jr. middleweight action, 28-year old Daniyar Yeleussinov (7-0, 3 KO), 150 ¼, of Kazakhstan worked his way to a unanimous six-round decision against Juan Norabuena (3-2-1), 149 ½, of Chile.
Norabuena looked early on like he might be overwhelmed as Yeleussinov worked him to the body and blasted away upstairs. The underdog stood his ground and made it a real night’s work for the favourite.
Yeleussinov, the 2013 world amateur champion and 2016 Olympic welterweight gold medalist, took some hard shots to the head in spots but clearly earned the win, rewarded by the judges at 60-54 twice and 59-55. The referee was Vic DeWysocki.

In a WBC, WBA super lightweight unification, Jessica McCaskill (7-2 3 KOs) walked away with two titles - by winning a ten round unanimous decision over Anahi Sanchez (19-4 11 KOs).
The scores were 99-91, 98-92 and 96-94 for McCaskill. The scorecards were very wide in a close fight - and McCaskill actually admitted the fight should have been closer on the cards.
McCaskill landed her title in her Chicago homepatch in October, outpointing Erica Farias to land the belt in just her eighth pro fight.
McCaskill was making it a rough brawl during spots in the first round, with Sanchez holding her ground and trading punches.
More of the same in the second, with McCaskill and Sanchez both finding spots of success during some furious trading of punches.
In the third and fourth, Sanchez seemed to have the edge with the more accurate punches landing. McCaskill was applying a lot of pressure and throwing more punches.
In the seventh, McCaskill got rocked by a big hook as they were trading a lot of leather. The action was non stop as they traded.
The action slowed down in the eight round, with both women a bit tired from the heavy punching. McCaskill closed the round strong with two big shots as Sanchez was up against the ropes.
McCaskill had the edge in the ninth, with the bigger punches landing from both hands. But Sanchez was in there when and was throwing a lot of counters.
Both let it all hang out in the tenth, as they both fired off what they could for most of the two minute round.

Two judges watched a different fight than me. It was real close and could've gone either way.

The women’s fight was really good.
Cards were poor though.
Women are doing the men over tonight.

Maldonado is an overweight CW and he doesn't know how to box.

Hunter looked good there - started fast and raised the tempo when he had Maldonado going.
Good finisher.

Maldonado fought like he was punch drunk.
I've seen novice female boxers who have a better skill level.

Well, maybe now we can see Hunter in with a top 15-20 HW. At least he can turn around and fight again rather quickly given he didn't break a sweat.

Hrgović's the best out of the HW prospects

Right now he is. Yup! He better hold onto his nutsack against Corbin.

To be fair, Corbin is a reasonable fighter.
Hrgovic is just a good prospect who's hard to match - like The Juggernaut.
Edit.
I'm not saying he's GOOD obviously - just a reasonable test for 7-0 prospect.
R1 KO is an above-par performance.
