He’s been blacklisted. Maybe Del or Dave Allen for AJ. The public will be getting sick of him.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑31 May 2019, 20:42 You can’t blacklist the unified champ.
Joshua is who these two need to grow the bollocks to face
tigermoth87 wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 03:16 Shame AJ is too much of a quacker to face them.
He knows Fury will outbox him snd Wilder will knock his lights out
Eddie is going to be in big trouble if AJ spits his dummy out. The American dream hasn’t gone great.... I’ve never known a fight less talked about than this on my FB page. It’s all Champions League. And they’re 50% boxing people!tigermoth87 wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 03:16 Shame AJ is too much of a quacker to face them.

Joshua is going to have to do a Ricky Hatton with young Edwardmickey1975 wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 03:24 Eddie is going to be in big trouble if AJ spits his dummy out. Thousands flown out there disagree with you. Your obsessions on Hearn and Joshua are bizarre, it's childlike.mickey1975 wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 03:24 Eddie is going to be in big trouble if AJ spits his dummy out. Ironically, I truly think it’s Joshua who needs Wilder and Fury to justify his alleged superstar status. He is operating on a far higher commercial level than Wilder and Fury combined and with that comes far higher demands, pressure and expectation. If you claim to be number 1 and hold most of the belts than you can reasonably be expected to clean out the division and get all the belts.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑31 May 2019, 20:42 You can’t blacklist the unified champ.

And when people criticise Wilder for not signing for the AJ fight, let’s just consider this.... Wilder is not being offered a one off fight. Instead he has been offered a 3 fight deal deal by DAZN, or at least was. Forgetting the Breazeale fight in that deal, fight 1 with AJ would see Wilder earn a reported $40m for fight 1. His team have no control over the promotion, which interestingly is one of the reasons Hearn rejected a previous offer from Wilder. Wilder is not disclosed what AJ will be earning nor disclosed the entire value of the fight. So it could end up that Wilder receives a 30-70% split (for example).
Wilder is chasing a 50-50 split for one fight. Personally, I think he’s worth it. Regardless of his past earnings, he holds a version of the world heavyweight title and the undisputed fight simply cannot happen without him. He therefore has considerable value particularly given that he will be earning AJ a career high payday. And if Hearn continues with his arrogance Team Wilder are literally going to continue to tell Eddie to piss-off and have some respect, which is what has happened. Eddie has literally publicised every part of the negotiations. I think if Wilder signs a deal he is entitled to know what the value of the fight is and what AJ will be earning.
If Wilder wins fight 1, he is contractually obliged to fight AJ in a rematch. Except Wilder gets the same purse as the first fight ($40m) whilst AJ will almost certainly get an increased purse and the lion share (again), even though he enters the fight as the loser. This is the exact same principle that caused Dillian Whyte to refuse to sign for a fight with AJ.
Hearn can makes as many public offers as he wants but the truth is that the terms he is proposing are not entirely reasonable, particularly when it comes to transparency of everyone’s earnings and the rematch terms are essentially an insurance policy pay-out to Team AJ.
The way team Wilder have played this is quite clever I think. They have driven up the offers massively and more recently Hearn has indicated that a 50-50 might have to be considered. Wilder is in no rush, the interest in the fight will continue to grow and so will his value. So long as he and AJ don’t lose...
If Wilder beats Fury on US PPV I imagine he will get the 50/50 split. So it will look like a master stroke.liamlion wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 06:57 Ironically, I truly think it’s Joshua who needs Wilder and Fury to justify his alleged superstar status. So, do you think Indongo deserved and got 50-50 with Crawford when they had an undisputed fight? Especially as he held 2 belts. Also, when Mayweather beat Pac he held all the titles at 147 bar the IBF that Brook had, if Floyd wanted that last title do you think Brook would've deserved 50-50?
No way. Joshua is Eddie Hearn or more specifically Matchroom’s fighter contractually. There is no way DAZN have the ability to unilaterally offer fight contracts to other fighters binding Joshua without regard to Hearn, who also has to answer to Joshua and his other partner Sky Sports.keirw wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 08:00 If Wilder beats Fury on US PPV I imagine he will get the 50/50 split. Although Hearn has to shoulder some of the blame for the unification not happening, the offer you outlined was offered by DAZN with little input from Hearn.
Joshua's side have shown much more willingness to make the fight than Wilder's team has, hopefully that all changes next year and we see the Wilder/Fury winner vs Joshua in 2020.
Each fight turns on its on merits.digzee wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019, 08:58 So, do you think Indongo deserved and got 50-50 with Crawford when they had an undisputed fight? Especially as he held 2 belts.
