No.
In fact I don't know that he beats Whyte, and he already didn't beat Parker.

some ppl, like our man overhand right, talking like aj never fought anyone in andys class, but honestly i think he has handily beaten several and this just goes to show that in boxing the unexpected can happen
ruiz legit spanked aj after getting up from the kd , but tbh wouldnt surprise me if some of ajs victims would beat ruiz---parker already did of course
in a way it sucks because aj-wilder lost lustre, but in a way its refreshing because it reminds you of how unpredictable things can get

lol nothing to do with butt hurt. im not trying to puff aj or diminish ruiz in any way. he did the business and battered aj good
im just curious what ppl think. ruiz obviously just got a great win but he hadnt really looked good before and wasnt expected to do much. what do we think of him now though, and his longevity? and what does it say about aj if he did indeed lose to a guy who parker beat and who some of his other victims could beat?
butt hurt makes no sense as a response

Made enough sense for you to respond to it. I really don't go for these kinds of threads anyway. Styles make fights. Shvt happens in boxing. Doesn't really equate to how one does vs another's opponents and so forth. Ruiz fought a great fight and AJ didn't. AJ showed a questionable chin. Great night for Ruiz. Can't say who he's better then until he fights them.

I don't know.
I've never been that impressed with Ruiz. He lost to Parker, admittedly could have gone either way, who is also very mediocre.
Credit to him tonight. He exposed AJ as a one note fighter.
But, maybe he's just better than I thought.

The Parker fight could have gone either way.
Ruiz Jr. did what nobody else managed to do. Let’s not look for reasons to poo poo his performance. He got up off a very hard KD and set a trap that worked.
The King of Boxing until further notice is a fat Mexican American.

Ruiz certainly fights to the level of opponent. The bloke who fought Parker and AJ would KO all those mediocre guys the sloven version outpointed in dull affairs.
Whether you beat him depends on whether you can take a punch. I think on that form he sparks Whyte and Povetkin.

i dont really think evaluating him vs other potential opponents or overall is poo pooing him here tonight, he put on a memorable performance in there and legitmately battered aj after hauling his fat ass up

I didn't dismiss his performance at all, but he's not suddenly an unbeatable fighter just because he scored a huge upset. He's still the beatable, far less than peak shape, middle of the road Heavyweight he was yesterday. He just has the biggest upset of the 21st century to his credit now.
He's made himself a piece of Boxing history for the rest of his life now no matter what. Being the first ever Mexican Heavyweight Champion will be something that will always get him love for sure. Plus he did it in one of the biggest upsets in Boxing history? His legacy is already set in stone. He fought a wonderful fight tonight so I'm not taking anything away from him as far as all that goes.

Ruiz won that fight against Parker IMO.
Good fighter Ruiz but won't beat Fury or Wilder.

I don't think he'd beat Luis Ortiz, maybe not Dillian Whyte, maybe not Povetkin. He wouldn't beat Usyk. He likely won't beat AJ twice either.

The only evaluation that matters is the test he aced tonight.

Nobody will ever be able to take that away from him. Just like nobody will ever be able to take Rahman's victory over Lennox away. Regardless of what he does from here, he'll always have this monumental win to hang his hat on. He's ensured that he'll make a lot more money in this sport than he would've too. I'm sure his next 3 fights regardless of how they go are gonna be WAY more profitable than they were gonna be without this W.

All true.
Every fighter at HW is beatable. Whoever is going to beat Ruiz Jr. will need a hard hat and best bring lunch.

If I were Ruiz Jr. I would drag my next opponent to . . .
Aztec Stadium, Mexico City.

Styles make fights.
You can be overall worse, than someone, who lost to your opponent. But that someone could just lack some particular tool, which you have.

And i personally put him on Parker's level. I hope Joseph gets more aggressive in near future
