Confirmed last night that Hannah Rankin's bid to become Scotland's first female world champion will be screened live on BBC Scotland and the BBC Sport Scotland website on June 15th.

Good luck to her I think the IBO is the only title she hasnt fought for. not going to be in the lights of KT or the new looker on the block 'Baby Face Assassin'

Good luck to her i'll give it a watch, never seen Rankin's fight with Shields but she was well beaten by all accounts, I remember seeing her do some punditry for B/Nation and she came across really well

Rankin became the first ever female boxing champion from Scotland last night. Winning the IBO title on points.

Saw an interview with her last week. She was adamant this was a proper world title not a Mickey Mouse one.

Fair play to her though well done.

Yeah it’s a bit more highly regarded in the female boxing

Fair play to Rankin she seems a nice girl, I would've liked to have seen more of the Ibraham/Taylor fight on the undercard, we on only got to see the last 2 rounds but it looked a great wee tussle

Ibrahim v Taylor was an amazing bout. Couldn't believe they were both still standing by the end.

Shame, we didnt see much of it on BBC
