Meh... between Facebook shadow banning people to where you can't see their posts, and Twitter manually removing people just to "balance out" their system... I'm sick of social media. Once it got into the stock market this crap has gotten ridiculous.

Why would Twitter do such a thing? Does it help them some how?

I don't have Twitter but I checked instagram and sure enough I had unfollowed him.

Then I remembered that he'd postponed the Wilder rematch, made a fight with unknown big stiff idiot Tom Schwarz and had said he'd have a decent fight with Dillian Whyte then backed out of it, irritating me by wasting my time and chatting an absolute load of old cobblers, so there was no nefarious going on with regards to me: I'd simply gotten bored of his rabbit and needed a break from all his bullshit patter.

I've quite enjoyed him again recently though in his interviews after Joshua's loss so I'm back on board again for the moment.

Even his biggest dickriders have got to admit he can be all over the place in terms of likability

Of all the conspiracy theories to have, Twitter having it in for Tyson Fury is something of a reach.

I'm challenging the story more than asking the question. It just doesn't make sense. He's not so big outside of boxing that he matters to twitter or any other social media platform I suppose.

Just in case anyone follows him may have realised or not. Plenty have said they had to re-follow him.

Never wanted to use Twitter BUT given that Fury takes a literalist view of a lot of Christian scripture, it's not surprising that he would have been targetted by Twitter. They are notorious for shananigans when it comes to users who go against the social liberal orthodoxy (which is openly prevalent in silicon valley).

His views on the gay community for example won't have escaped the attention of those who "enforce policy" on Twitter

Think there could be more to this than just an ‘error’, this sort of thing has happened a few times with controversial public figures, I remember the same happening to Tommy Robinson before they banned him completely.

Loads of hilarious conspiracies here... like Jack Dorsey has nothing to do then punk Fury online, he probably doesn't even know who Tyson is. Twitter's team is quite small and with the millions of users they have wouldn't have time to troll Fury it's either:

- an error (yes, these things happen with computers/systems funnily enough)
- you never followed him, you just think you did
- celebs have been losing fake followers they paid for
