Curry of 1985 vs Cuevas of 1977. Curry. Not as quick as Hearns though.

Curry by wide UD, but he would have to be on point at all times, if Cuevas catches Donald with that hook, it's over and Jose wins.

I think there was talk of this fight being made in late 82 early 83. I think Roger Stanford got his shot against Curry by upsetting Cuevas. In 1983 this is no contest as Cuevas was shot, but a prime Cuevas different story. I still think Donald wins.

Both had fast hands, Curry better defensively but Cuevas better one shot finish. Even tho it’s in their primes it’s still hard to evaluate without thinking about their big losses isn’t it?
Although curry was ironed out famously by Mcallums left hook and pipino favoured that heavily I still see him been too good technically for PC.. cobra by exciting but clear 15 rd decision
