Tszyu looks really drawn in those pics, mind you, so does Mitchell....still, assuming the weights come off ok, I reckon the Russian wins this late.
Wonder if any Russian satellite channels will be showing? I'll check. If not,
A WARNING TO ALL:
Turn the sound down on Sky's intro, until you see them on the way to the ring - that;s when you can be sure it's Darke's "live" commentary.
Otherwise, Dempsey & those other muppets in the studio are likely to drop a clanger, as usual, and give away the winner.

He dropped a clanger last night regarding Scott Gammer, first it was an "exciting contest" (which didn't give the result away) then it was "an exciting DISPLAY from Scott Gammer" - which did give it away.

Why do they do that?

It's not rocket science is it?
Anyway looking forward to watching the big fight tomorrow I'm going for a points win for Tszyu.

Kostya Tszyu seems very sure his injured shoulder will not be a problem, we shall soon found out for sure.
From the Australian press.
KOSTYA Tszyu says his injured left shoulder has been transformed into a powerful weapon for Sunday's world title fight with Sharmba Mitchell in Phoenix.
Tszyu partially ruptured a tendon in the shoulder in January, but under the guidance of Sydney bodybuilder and fitness expert Cole Young, the champion has rebuilt it with a stack of muscle.
"I have big, big power in the left hand," the Russian-born Australian said yesterday. "After the injury I had special rehabilitation to develop muscle on the shoulder and it worked extremely well."
It is the injury to Tszyu's shoulder, an achilles injury last year and the 22-month layoff resulting from both training injuries that have most US boxing writers picking American veteran Mitchell as the winner of Sunday's bout.
Tszyu rejected the talk about his health and any possible ring rust.
"I'm 100 per cent fit. I'm 100 per cent ready," he said. "I won't have any excuses. I'm here and when I step into the ring I will be ready."
Mitchell, a 34-year-old from Washington DC with an impressive 55-win (30 knockout), three-loss record, is aware of Tszyu's left hand.
"I figure his right hand is a weapon, but he has a nice hook which is actually his hurt arm now, but I'm sure he'll be still throwing it," Mitchell said.
Tszyu's recovery from a hospital bed in Sydney in January to defend his International Boxing Federation junior welterweight belt this weekend is a feat in itself.
"I have great rehabilitation powers in my body," the 35-year-old said.
"I can recover from anything and I also have great desire to succeed and a great team that's supporting me."
Tszyu has an air of coolness about him, although he said on the inside there were plenty of nerves.
"It's exciting, but at the same time I have to calm myself down," said Tszyu, who has a 30-win (24 KO) one-loss record.
"I have to say to myself, 'Relax, relax, relax. Don't rush it. Just keep relaxed'."

Tszyu looks awful, Mitchell should be rejoicing, yet he has a face like a pitbull licking piss off a thistle? I'm really not sure with this fight. A lot of Tszyu's strategy in the first fight was to use his strength to throw Mitchell about, and I think he'd win the rematch maybe a round or two earlier using the same tactic. But how strong is he gonna be? That is the key question, we won't know if he's managed to successfully replenish himself until we see him with his top off at the opening bell. Wish it was live but you have to take what you get.

You got balls to bet on Mitchell. Mitchell got hit lots by Mike Stewart and Lovemore, Tszyu hits far harder and is a lot more skilled. Mitchell will do a lot of holding and imo is going to get stopped in about the 9th after taking the early rounds.

Kostya Tszyu looks stoned to me, or someone who has enjoyed the odd joint. He looks as bad a Roy Jones did for his fight with Tarver and I am a little concerned about this fight now.
I hope of course I am wrong, I really respect Tszyu and he deserves to end on a high, but I think if this fight goes long he is in trouble.

Spot on mate, Tszyu has had real top level sparring, he'll start slow, as always, and eventually start to dismantle mitchell. Has Mitchell improved since the last tszyu fight in which he was destroyed, or at least starting to be systematically broke down in a big and brutal fashion.
I think people are looking into the lay off too much, look at titos performance the other week!!
Tszyu by kayo!
(incidentally im a huge tszyu fan)
