Loma is doing everything right. Collect all the belts and then guys like Garcia and and Gervonta won't have anywhere to hide.

It is too late for Garcia, he will continue his career at WW. I would like to see Loma vs. Davis, but I doubt that Davis' team will accept this fight in the near future.

If Loma collects all the belts, Gervonta might have to fight him. He's not gonna be able to make 130 no more and will have no choice, but to move up and fight him.
Unless Floyd makes him move up two divisions to side step a whole division because of Loma lol

I don't think Luke Campell is an easy fight. I think Campell is tougher challenge than Commey.
Loma doing what he needs to do , putting in the work , not every fight can be a mega fight, Just like Bernard Hopkins, and Marvin Hagler just keep fighting and the big fights will come.
at some point though Loma will peak athletically, may have happened already...I love following this guys career, good story..

This a easy fight
And a mismatch
Linares schooled Campbell easily...
Loma is better than Jorge in every aspect
This fight is a garbage fight just like Crolla

Loma's already beaten the top guys to beat in the division basically. All that's left for him is the other contenders. Hopefully he gets Commey soon. As for whether or not he fights Gervonta, that's up to Gervonta and his team. I'm sure Loma is down for it, but you can't force somebody into the ring with you.

I don’t think Davis team want anyone risky - Even Tevon Farmers made 3 offers to Davis now.

I can see why. He's the next in the Zab Judah/Adrien Broner mold. I already know it. They probably do too.

Jorge Linares motiviated at 135 is a hell of fighter, Campbell put up resistance to Linares. I am sure Campbell learned from Linares fight.
I say Campbell beats Commey and Teofimo Lopez if he were to fight either of those men now.
I hope you are right though. I hope it is any easy fight for Loma, I am a huge Loma fan and want easy wins for him.

And Campbell’s dad died couple of weeks before the fight and they kept it quiet from everyone.
Not that I’m saying he’s going to beat Loma but that couldn’t have helped in Linares fight.

Sometimes fighters say a close relative's death motivates them and spurs them on to victory.
Buster Douglas claims that he used his mother's passing as incentive to dig down and KO Tyson.
So it might work either way. We'll never know if Linares would have still whipped Campbell if not for the loss of the Brit's dad.
And we'll also never know if Douglas just had Tyson's number that night.

He was a bad style matchup for Mike for sure. If he would've been way out of shape like he was in the Holyfield title defense for a hypothetical rematch with Mike I'm not sure how it would've went, but I think the Buster that got into the ring that night in Tokyo always gives Mike hell. Any version of Mike.

A good tall, mobile boxer with a hard jab would always give Tyson hell.
But Douglas needed motivation to go the extra mile when things got tough.
Maybe without the desire to win that his mother's passing fueled, Douglas would have stayed on the canvas when he ate that uppercut.

A more properly motivated Mike probably would've landed that uppercut sooner...and more of 'em to follow too. So that's another thing to consider.
It's definitely interesting to ponder how the fight might've gone either 1 year earlier or 1 year later with both fighters coming in under different circumstances in their lives and preparation.
