Really enjoyed this video just came across it now. I was sad to hear about the troubles Murray has faced outside the ring. I think I watched almost all his fights pretty much from his pro debut. Does Hearn publicise what he makes from shows?

Decent interview but hardly a revelation that boxing is a mugs' game. The new generation of mugs are the ex-boxers becoming 'managers' and 'promoters'. Rushing around like blue arsed flies with suits and social media accounts spunking away what money they've made on a badly flawed business concept.
Matchroom know how to make money as a proper business.
Warren knows how to make the business work for him personally.
MTK have their own way and resources.
Hennessy has a lifestyle business that has supported him and his family, which is more than good enough.
The rest would be aswell to set their money on fire. Unless they're just shaking down the next generation of fighters under the pretence of looking after them. Then it's down to their own morals.

I genuinely cannot tell if you're being subtle or not.

He makes some valid points. He sounds a bit punchy but he’s articulate enough.
He’s doing his own thing whether he’s a success or not probably won’t bother him. Good luck to him he was a decent fighter always entertaining. I remember his fight vs Lee Meager which kind of springboarded his career.

I remember everyone wanting Murray and Thaxton matched up with Khan.
Khan would have likely won but would have been fun. If limond could deck Khan...

Gomez decked him so I’d guess Murray and Jono had a slight chance ...
