I would be excited to see it. I think the first one was closer than people realize  :bag:

No, Joshua fvcks him up, exactly the same as the first fight. Both haven’t really improved, so not sure why a different outcome would be expected.

It'll probably inevitably happen again one of these days. Especially if Whyte keeps on beating the guys he's being matched against. Hell he'll have to get one of the big matchups sooner or later just based on results.

I don't really expect a different outcome.

I'd rather see Whyte fight Wilder if he's gonna be getting a title shot. At least that's a fight we ain't seen before.

Relative to each other, maybe. Neither has improved significantly over the other:

I don't see it any closer than the first fight. AJ would stop him eventually.

I'd say 60:40 Joshua

I think Whyte has a better chance than last time and deserves another shot.

But he was beaten fairly convincingly last time so he's got to make a pretty big improvement if he wants to win

I think Whyte is the most overrated boxer in britain at the moment. Hes beaten a washed up Helenius, a shot to shit Browne, a domestic/European level heavyweight in Chisora, and an overrated Parker; theres people that actually believe that Wilder is scared of Whyte. That's the power of the matchroom/sky sports promotional machine for you.

Joshua knocks him out in similar fashion in a rematch.

It speaks volumes that he needed a gift decision vs Chisora and was behind in the rematch.

A top fighter shouldnt struggle vs Del Boy, and I say that as a Chisora fan

No. Joshua should be a solid favorite.

It's unlikely that the Ruiz defeat ruined Joshua. Most top fighters do bounce back from their first defeat.

Joshua is just better. Whyte struggles to survive Parker. He has all he can handle with Chisora.

So why should he be even money with Joshua, who's resume is superior and owns a KO over Whyte anyways?

Is any fight ever a true 50:50? Who knows. Anyhow, Whyte/Joshua v Wilder should be where the focus is. Let's not let the promoters escape that one.

I'd back Whyte, he was injured prior to and during the first fight having shoulder surgery afterwards and he is a massively improved fighter in every way under Mark Tibbs .
AJ meanwhile has had the significant confidence loss of his first defeat.

Where's the evidence that he's massively improved?

He hasn't fought anyone anywhere near Joshua in terms of ability to actually test that theory.

Parker is the best guy he's fought and Joshua beat him with ease, pretty much on autopilot.

The rematch makes sense and Dillian could have had it already. I think we’ll see it at some stage, hopefully while they’re both at the top of their game.

Since their first fight.. anyone Whyte has beaten, AJ would also beat.

Hearn should put Whyte against Ruiz. He would win. Then Joshua or Fury.

LOL! Seriously. He went life and death with Chisora FFS. I guess with AJ having lost, fans are trying Whyte on for size.

Of course. Typical stuff.

You could even say Whyte went life and death with Parker too. Very close fight that could have easily ended a draw or a 12th round stoppage win for Parker.
