Is Fury having another in between fight? I know Wilder is slated to fight Ortiz...presumably in the fall sometime.

I think October he was saying? Or was it late August.

Cool.

Will be interesting to see if they can both impress again in their lead in bouts to the rematch. If Wilder is fighting Ortiz and Fury is fighting presumably Miller, it'll be much more difficult tests for both of them than their last fights.

Wait and see if Wilder camp confirms it.

Earlier in June Wilder said that the rematch was signed. Fury denied it and said if it was signed, someone forged his signature.

I expected Wilder to fight Kownascki in February. I'd prefer that first. Very entertaining.

Fury is also confirming an October fight with Big Baby Miller. Even though Arum said yesterday that the uncertainty surrounding Miller's license makes it unlikely that he would be an opponent. Called it 'silly" speculation.

Fury may just be in one of those "confirming" moods today even if there's no real substance.

Fury never mentioned any venues.

But in fairness, there's still no venue announced for Wilder-Ortiz 2 in September, so there's always time to work out those little details.

Bryan is interchangeable with Schwartz.

High ranking. Limited talent.

Is he still the WBA Interim champion too? Has he had a fight since beating BJ?

No he hasn't had another fight. His win over Flores was nearly one year ago in August.

Probably Bryan's best win, for what it's worth.

If Bryan doesn't want the Fury fight (he's in line for a fight against the Ruiz-Joshua rematch winner) then the ever popular Charles Martin is a top choice to be Fury's October victim.

I believe Trevor Bryan would take the Fury fight.
Otherwise he will be waiting 18-24 months for a mandatory if he is even named mandatory for winner of Joshua vs Ruiz.
The FURY fight would be the most money he could make at the time

Depends whether he wants to lose his trinket and his chance at getting the easiest mandatory position in the division.

That's a lot of 2s'.

I guess 3 will be 3.3.2030.

As much as Fury goes on about being fitter etc an he will 'win' even more convincingly, this time. Wilder knows he can knock him down and hard too. Plenty has been said about how Fury will do in the return and seemingly not so much for Wilder. My guess is Wilder is even more confident of putting him down for good this time. Wilder can be shite for the majoirty of his fights, and usually is, but it hasn't mattered so far, in terms of outcome. For me, the only fight where he looked like a boxer was the 1st Stiverne fight, so he can if he has too but that wouldn't work against Fury, if he's considering that route. The likelihood is it'll be a re-run of the 1st fight but with Wilder nailing him for the count, making Fury's superior skill set, null and void

actually it did matter in terms of outcome in the fury fight, because he scored multiple kds but didnt win because he wasnt doing good enough earlier. most fights where a guy scores 2 kds and the other guy scores none, the guy with the kds wins
