I'll believe it when somebody who isn't Amir Khan confirms it.

Agreed.

Although, I could definitely see it happening.

I have zero interest for Khan.

He has consistently dodged domestic rivals throughout his career claiming to be above them all including Thaxton, Murray and Brook. Nothing gets the juices flowing quite like a domestic dust-up and yet Khan acts so arrogant and allouf when confronted with the prospect.

Meh. I'll believe it when it's actually confirmed by a reliable source, and even then I won't care that much.

He can justifiably say that he was above Thaxton and Murray, and he always had bigger fish to fry than Brook.
Look at his resume

I agree. Khan has had a career to proud of, and has always looked to go up a ladder, and not slide down a snake.

There's a lot to admire about his career. If he had the likeable personality of Andy Lee or the kick ass nature of peak Nigel Benn he'd be revered by all.

But instead he comes over like a perpetually horny delusional cretin.

Thaxton and Murray maybe, but he didn't always have bigger fish to fry than Brook. Several times in recent years a fight with Brook is the biggest he could've had which would've been readily available to him.

Maybe he feels if he loses a domestic dust up, he can no longer be a punching bag, and be a well compensated B side for Boxing's REAL stars.

Is this like Fury telling us last week that a fight with Big Baby Miller was signed for October? Or that the Feb. 22 rematch with Wilder was also inked?

Neither is true, and I doubt anything has been signed with Pacquiao either. Pac is unlikely to fight again in 2019 after Saturday night.

Just Khan living a fantasy as usual. He's as obsessed with Pacquiao as Manny is with Mayweather.

Khan was more obsessed with both Manny and Mayweather than Manny has ever appeared to be obsessed with anybody

I say that because it seems that Manny is talking about a possible Mayweather rematch every other week.

He never lets go. Pac will be 75 and still trying to get a hold of Floyd about another chance at it.

I guess I hadn't noticed. The fact that he's stayed active while Mayweather has retired means he'd probably have a better chance in a rematch, which is also why it's very unlikely Floyd ever gives him one.

I'm pretty sure Mayweather is retired unless someone with deep pockets offers him an obscene sum to fight another MMA guy.

Or he'll undoubtedly put on the trunks for another $10 million exhibition.

But a legit fight with a boxer? No.

However, when contacted for a response to Khan's comments, Pacquiao’s publicist Fred Sternburg told The National: “Manny has not signed a contract for that fight.”

“It’s simple, Senator Pacquiao is focused on his fight July 20 on Fox Sports Pay-Per-View versus Keith Thurman,” Sean Gibbons, president of MP Promotions told BS.com in response to the outlandish claims. “The Amir Khan fight is news to us."

Just shocking, isn't it

Khan has gone off the deep end. Now he's spreading his own false news.

Isn't there some motivational crap where you write down your dreams and make them come true?
Visualise your goals and make them reality?

If that worked, Khan would be an unbeaten multi-weight champion with the chin of Chuvalo.

Totally disagree with you here. If you remember, he went 18-0 but rather than fight John Murray, or Jon Thaxton for the British title, both punchers, he fought the light-fisted Willie Limond - and nearly got knocked out! And rather than fight dangerous UK-based Yuri Romanov for the European title, he fights a light-fisted Dane for some WBO intercontinental title. And then he gets flattened by a South American clubfighter in less than a minute.

He may have had bigger fish to fry in his delusional mind, but his team also knew that his glass chin could get shattered versus his domestic rivals. Kell Brook, same thing. And here he is now with yet another cynical fight, versus a 40 year old he ducked in 2010 when the fight meant something. I hope he gets KOd in 1 by Pacman in front of his adoring brethren.

Really don’t understand the heat Khan gets, he’s been great for the game, he was great in Athens, his style was perfect for tv, won world titles, fought big fights in Vegas and MSG, fought loads of big names even when he was up against it, and he gets grief for what ? Not fighting Murray or Thaxton ? Chasing p4p fighters ? Earning big paydays? Not fighting Brook ? Being vocal ? He’s had a good career by anyone’s standards and entertained me heaps over the years, he’s earned every penny he’s made so good luck to the lad I say🥊

He ducked Murray, Thaxton and Brook, but he fought Allvarez, Maidaina, Crawford, Barrera, Malanaggi,
Alexander, Collazo, Judah, Garcia and might even get Pacman.
He's earned the big bucks because he is excited, takes risks and the big fights, he puts bums on seats.

💯 this. I don’t think you can fault Khan’s career, really. He has his frailties and he’s not an ATG but he’s achieved more than 99% of boxers...
