To give up the British title to fight Norrad and Peter was for me an embarrassing swerve for someone who likes to call himself a “ fighting man “ .

I’m sure this won’t have gone down well with Mick “ shades “ Hennessy who to be fair has stood by him and somehow managed to get coverage of such poor fights on Tv .
I hope Channel 5 and the like can find an alternative promoter who I’m sure could deliver better fights , entertainment and value .

I used to like watching Hughie even when he was getting stick from early on but I've grown bored of his career and he hasn't got a second gear, I did have him beating Parker though so cant figure out if that makes him world class, I do think he's a good boxer but maybe he needs another trainer to bring a bit more to his game, he's irrelevant on the world scene as far as I'm concerned, he wont fight big domestic fights because he's above that level but will happily fight the likes of Peter, Norrad etc


Good move though itll maybe make me take a bit more interest in his career again
