DILLIAN WHYTE STATUS WITH THE WBC

by Nondescript
A sample "A" UKAD collected from Mr. Dillian Whyte in connection with his fight against Oscar Rivas yielded an adverse finding. In light of that finding, and pending the outcome of the investigation and the WBC award process, the World Boxing Council provisionally suspends the recognition of Dillian Whyte as WBC Interim World Champion and mandatory division challenger.
The WBC has notified Mr. Whyte and his team about the suspension of the WBC. Mr. Whyte will be given the opportunity to present his position to the WBC at an investigation hearing, the date and place of which will be announced in the near future. Throughout its investigation and hearing, the WBC will provide Mr. Whyte and his team with the opportunity to present any available information and materials, as well as any exculpatory evidence they may deem appropriate.

Seems fair i'd like think he's not cheating, just for the sake of the sport if anything but if he's guilty he's a repeat offender then they should give him a lifetime ban
Makes you wonder how many other fighters have failed UKAD tests that were never found out

You had to figure that the WBC would take action if he failed, and now we know for certain that he has. What a mess.

Wasn’t his first fail for that Jack3D supplement the same as Maccarinelli and there was a difference in ingredients between the old and new versions of it? I may well be remembering the details incorrectly but I don’t view either of them as intentional drugs cheats from taking that. Just foolish...

True. My point was that I don’t view him as a two-time cheat, just careless the first time...

I can't remember the full in and outs, think it was something about one of the ingredients being put on the banned list and the fighters not being aware.
I do remember feeling a 2 tear ban was harsh at the time.
It has no bearing on this situation though, if this is as bad as is being reported then it is a completely different level and a long ban and loss of mandatory position is to be expected. Regardless of what came before.
People reffering to him as a two time offender are being a bit premature, but aren't necessarily wrong.

I agree with you on that, but I prefer to view him as careless the first time given the circumstances. This is obviously a completely different situation and I’d be disappointed if he doesn’t receive at least a four year ban should everything be proven...

When your , a ameteur , boxing for a trophy and a place on the national team , with your local club , and relying on a trainer who is really just in it for the love of the sport , Yes THEN CARELESSNESS , LACK OF KNOLEDGE CAN PLAY A PART , but WHEN YOU GET PICKED FOR THE NATIONAL TEAM , ARE MADE AWARE of whats what , given a booklet of whats what , and are funded , have people there to assist , the game changes ,
Now when you become pro , and become a PPV fighter worth millions theres NO EXCUSE ,,
Alls i can say is I'M GLAD he did'nt take the AJ fight cos now he's missed out on millions and it serves him right , he's a cheat thats all there is too it .
But with saying that , i stil think they should either ban himn for life , and anyone else who gets caught , or just simply let them ALL take what they want . and make it a level playing field .

Well TBH Rivas looked Roided up to the eyeballs as does AJ what’s the betting he would have passed the test if he had fought AJ. They are all on it

BT sport have removed their interview with Warren and Boxing social have removed their interview with Thomas Hauser. Looks like Whyte/Hearn are having their legal teams threatening people for reporting on this.

Would be nice to see a boxer sue , and win big money against a certain person , who likes to sue , it would be called KARMA , and i would buy my popcorn and coke and sit and watch rubbing my hands with glee

Lance Armstrong successfully sued numerous individuals for accusing him of doping. Means fornicate all except that the law is an ass.

I agree, anyone found to be juicing once ban them for life,i dont mean a certain ingredient change i mean the likes of a TJ Dillashaw taking epo or Miller taking numerous peds they should be banned for life,it starts with the promotors,if all of them keep away from certain guilty fighters then they wont fight and they will thrn effectively be "banned" cause they wont get fights but while promotors keep giving these drug cheats a pay check then they will never be banned. Imagine every promotor steering clear of Canelo? It wouldnt happen because money talks so were all just wasting our time. Dillian will be banned for a year or 2 and be back on ppv and all of the numb nuts will buy his fights.

Isn't it funny that in other sports people take a big stand againts drug cheats, they wont stand on the podium with these people, they wont shake their hands, they will publicly name and shame them BUT when it comes to boxing all is forgiven and boxers carry on and people forget.....promoters cash in.
Crazy - its the one sport you would think that would have zero tolerance because a life could be on the line, not seconds in a running race!
He should be banned and so should any boxer who tests positive the 1st time, life ban immediately. This is the 2nd time now too. What more does he have to do, start jacking up in between rounds before someone says take it easy?!

Thing is these boxers know the cycle of when the shyte leaves their system so when tested it shows up clean. Its upto us as fans to take a stand against any show with a drug cheat on it,if we all dont buy a ticket dont buy ppv and we all not tune in to the channel then these gobshite promotors managers and tv stations will get the picture.

Whyte needs to have his dai in court(the hearing) everyone should be innocent before being proved guilty.
However the signs don't look good, and also for me it is the only plausible reason why he turned down the millions to fight AJ.
I wonder if Eddie had any suspicions at that point?

Cant remember the WBC removing Canelo frim their rankings before a judgement was made
