Not at Cruiser !
Haye is too big and athletic to lose, but he can't trouble Toney's defence and counter-punching.
Haye pts all day long.

Toney for me and he could stop Haye. Haye is becoming a bit overrated over the years. Even an overweight Toney is more active in a ring than Haye is.

Depends what Toney turns up.
Toney had problems with weight, but if a not so good Toney could beat Jirov a good one could beat Haye.

Toney was brilliant vs Jirov. However, that's a completely different matchup. Haye wouldn't waste his time and energy in uneffective aggression in the same way Jirov did. Haye is also more elusive not only in the offence, but in the defence as well.

Toney is overrated too. People call him a great middle when he clearly was not. Capable of extremely impressive performances on occasion, at his best he's a handful for most, but just as likely to sleepwalk to a points loss. If haye tried to take him out he'd get stopped. If he stuck and moved he'd win wide.

Haye lived off the Mormeck victory for too long, good win at the time but it needed a social promotion to boost his reputation if you know what I mean.
David was a good fighter but he's not on Toney's level.

He does sleepwalk but even a sleepwalking Toney will do more in a ring than Haye. Haye sticks and moves but doesn't throw as much punches as a defensive fighter like Toney does unless he's in a brawl. And even then, he would rely on "haymakers" against one of the most iron chinned fighters.

Toney is much better in mythical match ups than he really was in the ring. He was best at 68., But far from unbeatable.

You think he was a great middle? Definitely had a great win, he lost many more rounds than he won vs contenders at that weight.

I don't think he was a Great Middleweight exactly, but he's a great fighter, and I don't think he's overrated. At least not by much.
He never belonged at Middleweight. Too big.

Yes, Toney was far from unbeatable. Haye was just plain beatable. Never got the hype about him except having the mouth and looking the part.
