Glad to see this kid got the W, I have always admired Gonzalez as the veteran pro that he is. Hope he gets another shot on a major east coast - west coast card in the US soon.

His dad spelled it wrong on the birth certificate, I believe.
Johnny was a fine Pro & I loved his late career resurgence beating Jackson Asiku, Hozumi Hasegawa, Elio Rojas & Abner Mares at featherweight.
Good bantam as well (nice up-and-downer vs William Gonzalez) and lost some very exciting fights at 122 to Israel Vazquez & Toshiaki Nishioka.
