Tony Atlas jr vs Roberto Duran

Circa 1982, who wins?
If it's the Hands of Stone that fought the great Wilfred Benitez and Luigi Minchillo and Nino Gonzalez and Kirkland Laing period (1981-82) at 154lbs, ain't no way in hell that beats Tony "El Torito" Ayala, Jr. He has to be the one version that beat Davey Moore in order to beat Ayala. If he comes less than that, it's over for Duran.Seamus wrote: ↑18 Aug 2019, 18:15 I think you mean Tony Ayala. I think it would be very competitive through about 5 rds, with the younger man applying lot's of pressure and having his moments, but then Duran's huge experience advantage would take over and Ayala would be eating counters. Cholo probably batters him to a TKO around the 10th.
Yeah, I meant Ayala, phone keeps messing up.Seamus wrote: ↑18 Aug 2019, 18:15 I think you mean Tony Ayala. He better be up for the fight. Because in the Benitez, Laing and Nino Gonzalez fights of the world, he looked terrible. Horrible. Horrendously bad.
