Sweet!
Glad they got it done.
I expect this to be another schooling on Cheeseman, unless his team have been drilling some defence into him. He has the
potential to be really good, and he is still so young, but the odometer has taken a thrashing the last few fights and he has a lot more miles than his age suggests.
Still, good domestic dust up

Surprised they're not using this for a London or even Manchester show as both I thought sold a few tickets. Guess perhaps this is to show they're making the cards bigger for sky so perhaps not so important to get the fighters fighting locally.

Tryna sell tickets for Ritson-Davies instead. Decent undercard fight.

Cheeseman was poor last fight too.

I like this match up. Cheese only fights one way. Always fun to watch. I was impressed with Fitz performance vs Fowler. I’d fancy him to do a number on cheese.

I keep hoping Cheese will mature.
I've seen him try some evasive moves, but it seems that is mostly when he is out of range.
I agree about Fitz Vs Fowler, love a rematch of that in the future.
I find both Fitz and Cheese entertaining fighters. Looking forward to this

Bout a year ago, I think this poll would have favoured Ted more.. so far, sums it up.

Did the fight posters always say Eddie Hearn presents instead of just Matchroom?

Yeah, for me it was simmiler to Ritson- cut a swathe through the domestic opposition, then get schooled at Euro.
Both guys
seemed to have something really special, and picked up a lot of fans along the way because both are very entertaining.
I haven't given up on either guy yet.
Both have a lot to learn. In Cheeseman's case he needs to learn fast, because his last fights have been high milage affairs for him.

Btw. I love how you always look at the little detail.

Surprised they are putting this on this bill. Very good fight for an undercard and if anything it feels bigger than the main event to me.

I’ve no idea how Cheeseman is so highly rated by some, just another Lee Purdy rehash for me - entertaining to a point but very limited.
If Fitzgerald trains properly it’ll be a walk in the park for him

I agree.
I did wonder if I must have been watching a different fighter to those who said he was going to be a world beater.

I like both guys, but Fitz is by far the superior boxer here and should win by UD.
Cheeseman is a handful though and it won't be easy for him.
I see the main event the other way round, Davies may be a decent boxer, but I doubt he will be able to keep Ritson at bay for very long and I see him wilting under the pressure in the middle rounds.

Cheeseman has been awful last 2 fights and probably on the slide. Fitzgerald mid to late TKO, better fight before Cheeseman first defeat.

Cheeseman is tough, fit and has a high work rate.
Fitz would do well to train hard and come prepared for a 12 rounder on the back foot.

Awful is a little harsh mate.
For a young guy at around or slightly below British title level, he is alright. Got exposed at Euro, and Garcia is a rather good champion- underestimated somewhat. No harm in losing to him.
He has just turned 24, not a big Am background, and his pro wins against Jones, Byfield, and Upton were quite good.
I'm giving Ted until he is 25-26 and see where he is at. If he has learned nothing by then, he will be another Eggington.

Certainly don't see Fitz getting a stoppage here. Cheese is nothing if not strong and tough. He will be in there until the end.

The problem for Cheeseman is that the blueprint on beating him is out there. He lost every round to Garcia and struggled in his last fight.
