"The Reptile" hasn't fought since April 2018 (a decision loss to Big Baby Miller).

i was thinking about that too... he would be a better opponent for Usyk's debut than Fedosov is

I think Fedosev is plenty for dipping his toe into the heavyweight pool for the very first time. 31-3, 25 KOs, fights at 225-230, won 7 fights in a row, 6 by KO, ranked #4 in Russia!

I give Usyk a pass only because he got injured and has been out of the ring for a while now. When he first decided to move up, his camp made it clear that he was 'diving in' and would fight a top HW. Am I the only one who remembers this?

I hope not. I wouldn't mind seeing him against Hrgovic, Hunter, Ajagba or Usyk.

No i remember it. They were talking about him fighting my man Povetkin, but injury or no injury i think this is smarter.

His record is as padded as Ustinov and Dimitrenko’s before they started being used against upcomers.
