Parker wasn't happy with an 8 week camp for Whyte and now he is going to get an 8 week camp for Chisora? Not great if it's true.
Love the fight but I'd prefer them both to get a nice long camp to see the best version of both.

Hopefully both camps have been in training for a few weeks already while the money men finalized the contracts.
Should be a good fight if both fighters are in tiptop shape physically and fired up mentally. but if either man (Chisora mainly) comes in less than 100% it could be a tedious affair.

Ya, people always overlook that things can be in the works before they are actually announced.
The time from fight being announced to fight night isn't necessarily the total training camp time at all
I doubt either wanted 4 months like Whyte did for an AJ rematch though

I follow Parker on IG and he is in great shape. it looks like he has been putting in a lot of work at the gym for a while now. Should be a good scrap

I think Parker wins but not comfortably. Chisora will need to apply constant pressure

Taylor/Prograis and Del/Parker - double header on PPV at O2 - which makes sense as Taylor v Prograis at the o2 on WBSS alone wouldn’t sell enough.
So they’ll co-promote with Matchroom.

Prog-Taylor is one of the best fights in boxing for a while, if this is on the bill and some others it can easily justify a PPV TBH

Parker Chisora is just icing on the cake. Everyone loves a HW fight. I think Parker will dominate with his speed, and Chisora will wait for his opportunities like he did with Takem. Although I expect Parker to win, I also expect Del Boy to be dangerous.

This will be a cracking scrap. If Parker gets dragged into a dog fight he'll likely lose. He should be able to outbox Delboy though.

The mouth-watering heavyweight clash between Joseph Parker and Dereck Chisora is under threat as the New Zealander's management team has not been able to get a commitment around drugs testing.
The fight is slated to take place on October 26 at London's O2 Arena and is being talked about as one of the biggest heavyweight fights of the year.
However, Parker's manager David Higgins today dropped a bombshell, saying that the fight was off unless they could get Chisora to commit to Wada-sanctioned blood and urine testing anywhere in the world up to and immediately following the fight.
"We've received a formal offer to fight Dereck Chisora on October 26. We have accepted on the condition that two clauses are inserted into the contract," Higgins told the Herald. "One is that Joseph's fight will be no earlier than the penultimate fight on the card, and the other is the drug-testing protocols."
"Under the circumstances of those conditions not being met, unfortunately we will have to pull out of the fight," Higgins said.
To make the fight happen, Parker has put ego aside and ceded A-side to Chisora, meaning the Brit will get preference over the dressing room and will walk to the ring second.

They’re back on? Excellent.
And Parker v Chisora appears to be another very good heavyweight matchup.

Not another PPV though. I can understand Lomachenko being a PPV - but I was hoping Hearn might cut them down following the Whyte debarcle - he's promised by SFN and this should be an example of that.
Taylor is not a PPV star and now we are using past it heavyweights as PPV names.

Taylor vs Prog is one of the best fights that can be made in boxing, sure not huge names, but absolute quality of a fight

It seems folk are beginning to have concerns about drug taking amongst Hearns fighters

If Taylor can win, that would be a massive achievement.

I'm hearing Chis vs Parker may not happen because of contract disputes.
1 - Parker's camp demands WADA drug testing up to and right after the fight
2 - Parker's camp wants the fight to be the no earlier than the penultimate fight on the card.
As reported by Dylan Cleaver of NZH.

I'm not saying its not a quality fight - just not box office on Sky IMO.
