Being reported by Dan Rafael and Michael Benson. This is the same day that Prograis vs Taylor was supposed to be so this should be interesting.

Solid matchup, and this is where "Loser to the Stars" Chisora has reached too far into the stratosphere again. Though this should be a competitive loss for him at least.

3 out of 8 (the most recent ones: Whyte 2x and Kabayel, I dont count Helenius as loss).

Taylor Prog likely to be moved into November. Prog wants full training camp. Tbh. He could have already been training now. Don’t see why he needs the fight to be confirmed before he starts training.

If Parker can knock Chisora out, he'll no doubt be in line for a world title shot.

Reckon he'll make this a ppv?

"Joseph is a ppv fighter. It's the only way we could make this fight happen"

Maybe. Coppinger is reporting that the 26th is still the date for Taylor vs Prograis so it's possible they'll make one big card out of it.

Ahhh, what a shame for Chisora. All that hard work to improve his game and he fights the one fighter outside of the big 3, that is going to make him look bad. I think Parker is too mobile, too elusive for the brawling Chisora. He would've been much better taking on some of the undefeated up and comers.

Oh well, if he does pull it off somehow, then Delboy will be in a great negotiating position.

The mouth-watering heavyweight clash between Joseph Parker and Dereck Chisora is under threat as the New Zealander's management team has not been able to get a commitment around drugs testing.

The fight is slated to take place on October 26 at London's O2 Arena and is being talked about as one of the biggest heavyweight fights of the year.

However, Parker's manager David Higgins today dropped a bombshell, saying that the fight was off unless they could get Chisora to commit to Wada-sanctioned blood and urine testing anywhere in the world up to and immediately following the fight.

"We've received a formal offer to fight Dereck Chisora on October 26. We have accepted on the condition that two clauses are inserted into the contract," Higgins told the Herald. "One is that Joseph's fight will be no earlier than the penultimate fight on the card, and the other is the drug-testing protocols."

"Under the circumstances of those conditions not being met, unfortunately we will have to pull out of the fight," Higgins said.

To make the fight happen, Parker has put ego aside and ceded A-side to Chisora, meaning the Brit will get preference over the dressing room and will walk to the ring second.

WTF. Given the Whyte disaster recently, drug testing should be an absolute non-negotiable item.

Szpilka demanded the drug testing before fighting Chisora too, he got some clause in contract but he wasn't tested even once (so i assume that Chisora wasn't too)

Doubt this will go-ahead but if it does WAR bangs out Parker early. Frightening power.

Parker has never beaten a decent fighter convincingly. Although Chisora hasn't really done much of that either. Should be a competitive one.
