Alvaro "Yaqui" Lopez' work rate and punching output is the difference. Lopez by decision or late knockout stoppage.
I can't see no version of Antonio Tarver beating the Yaqui Lopez that fought two wars with Matthew Saad Muhammad.

Tarver's version who knock out Jones .
Lopez never fought against hard hitter southpaws like Tarver.
I like Yaqui but imo he would lose Tarver by points.
