Unless someone comes out of Olympic 2020, IMO following will be major players in 2022.

1 - Bakhodir jalalov ( who seems to be very fast and looks around 6'8" and a hard puncher ) he could be next vitali Klitchko
2 - Efe Ajagba
3 - Flip hargovic
4 - Tony Yoka
5 - Daniel Dobious

I can't see anyone to be shinning in current record shown at BOXREC data base. Please Tell me i am wrong . Thanks

In 3 years time?

If Wilder is still boxing he’ll be there.. Ruiz, Parker?

You can’t think these guys are gonna slide down so quick. HW boxing doesn’t work that way.

Wilder, AJ or Fury will likely all still be in the mix in some capacity. At least 2 of the 3. I figure the other will probably still be Top 10 at worst.

Ajagba might get there. Filip Hrgovic likely makes some big noise. There's a kid right now who's starting as a Cruiserweight, but I'd be very surprised if he doesn't turn out to be a formidable Heavyweight in Evgeny Tischenko. Maybe not as soon as 2022, but he'll have gotten people's attention by then at least.

I think parker as the only one who will become better as he maturing. Other top 3 will be going downhill , that's including joshua ... we will not see another dominant champion like wladimier Klitchko anytime soon.

The Gypsy King will be #1. The other is harder to say. Anyway Wilder and Joshua will be around the very top. As well as the likes of Parker, Whyte, Ruiz. And Usyk will be among them. The likes of Hrgovic, Ajagba, Dubois and maybe Yoka will enter the top too.

The Gypsy is has never proved dominent and will never. He will be fart in the air. he never gave Klitchko a rematch and not giving wilder a rematch soon. The guy has high chances of ballooning again to make a nice excuse for going into hiding.

And did you mention Whyte " the drug cheat". He was never anything too. And now he is on watch list.

Fury proved pretty much in his Klitschko and Wilder fights. Now with the help of grandpa Bob the Fury-Wilder rematch is being marinated. In the Feb of 2020 it is likely to take place. Then the Gypsy King will finally conquer the remaining belt.

Dubois and Ajagba should be up there by then. Maybe Makhmudov too. Not sure if Fury will be as he relies on instincts and speed and he'll be 33 by then and slowing down. AJ could very well be if he turns it around starting with the Ruiz re-match. I don't see Wilder fighting that much longer, given his proclivity for broken hands and other injuries as he'll be 36/37. Ruiz is a mystery to me right now. Hrgovic will rise and fall before 2022.

Fury is happy with what he already achieved, everyone can see that he is satisfied. I can't see him as dominent champion in future.

He doesn't look like he is fed up and satisfied for good, he looks like he is on a roll.

Cause, as I've already said, gradpa Bob is marinating Wilder rematch. He keeps Fury on a remain-busy-while-being-unharmed diet in order to marinate that bout until the Feb of 2020.

So then Bob arum is protecting Fury , and fury loving it .

..sticking to this marinating strategy, I don't think the next 2.5 years will be enough to replace the old guard..will be pretty much the same lame duck elite discussing their rematch options..

Aye. Sadly I think you'll be proved correct.

But to answer the op, 2022 is just over 2 years away anyway. That's not an especially long time in heavyweight boxing

2022 can be August 2022, so it's 3 years away ...
