Arthur Vs Docherty is on!!

As this got lost in the server crash, I thought I would re-post it as it is a bit of good news for UK fight fan.
The West v East showdown between Glasgow's Craig Docherty and Edinburgh's Alex Arthur for the British Super Featherweight title is to go ahead.
The deadline for purse bids was today (8/12/04) and it was confirmed that Scotland's top two Super Featherweights will meet at Glasgow's Kelvin Hall on Friday the 18th of March 2005.
And John Simpson's British Featherweight eliminator against Salford's Steve Foster Jr will also take place in Glasgow during the same week. The date and venue have been confirmed as the St Andrew's Sporting Club, Glasgow, on Monday the 14th of March after Tommy Gilmour and Barry Hearn won purse bids for both bouts.
I think this is a great match up and for a REAL Title. The atmosphere should be fantastic on the night.
I lean toward the improved Arthur but it is really a 50/50 fight in my opinion.
