I suspect that he is assuming that he will defeat Wilder, which suggests Wilder has a rematch clause in the agreement.

Ward insisted that Wilder v Fury II is happening during the Rogan interview. Of course, none of it matters if Wallin and / or Ortiz win.

Wouldn't it make more sense that he sees himself winning the belt, but having to fight a contracted rematch?

Anyway 4 fights is optimistic as it would require Wilder agreeing a fairly quick turnaround time on the potential rematch.

Hope it all goes well for him. T. Fury is one of the most entertaining fighters active.

Whomever wins, there will be a rematch. Wilder wasn't the one opposed to a quick turnaround for this one.

I also thought the first fight sucked over-all. It would seem to me that it would be smart for Wilder to go to Fury's body for the first half. How can he miss? Fury still looks soft there, and it would help set big shots up later. Anyway, who ever wins, I hope it is decisive.
Maybe we will get surprised if Ortiz beats Wilder, that would be funny as hell. I heard the fight is November. February is a short turn around for a February fight with Fury if it is a tough fight.

Deontay Wilder included an immediate rematch clause for the first Tyson Fury bout.

However, the outcome being a draw rendered that stipulation meaningless, because the American technically didn’t lose, even though the masses scored the fight to the Brit.

So it seems inevitable that Wilder will include yet another immediate rematch clause for the second Fury bout.

AND IF TYSON FURY WINS, THE BRIT WOULD HAVE TO FACE WILDER FOR A THIRD TIME!!!

Therefore, common sense tells us that Tyson Fury plans to BEAT Wilder with the inevitable expectation that he’ll have to face the American for a THIRD time!
