Klitschko and Sauerland assured that his next fight will take place in spring in Germany against an attractive opponent.

Vitali wants to fight at the ArenaAufSchalke (capacity: 60,000 in football).

it will be a free defence. the most attractive fight would be vs. Sam. the stadium would be sold out. both fight for Sauerland. no problems with negotiations.

bring on that fight.

It would only be attractive in Germany. You can't really say that Sam has earn't a chance at the title. Having said that if Danny had won he may have fought Skelton in his first defense which no one outside the UK would have been intrested in.

Sam is now #9 at the WBC and has shown a lot of good fights in the last 2-3 years. his last fight was awesome. he smashed e.g. Dany Williams to pieces. he deserves it.

Easy win for Vitali, Sam is too slow and plodding. The one thing which made me think Danny had a chance is that he has fast hands and is a good body puncher, Sam isn't really physically equipped with the tools to beat Vitali from what I can see.

Mabye an interesting contest. Sam has fast hands but slow movement, Klitschko size will probably mean Sam would have to chase Klitchsko, which is something he cannot do effectively. Sam would have to rely on Klitschko coming to him.

I think those traits that you say gave Danny a chance, Sam also has (ask Julius about his body punching, ask Danny about his hand speed). Its just I cannot see how Sam will get past the jab. Unless he cannot goat Vitali into making it war then I cannot see how Sam's style will trouble Klitchsko.

He would probably be more effective than Williams, because he is a slightly more natural come forward fighter and might slip punches better, but his lack of foot speed is the critical factor.

Sam would plod straight into a booming right hand and get stopped VERY early. He has worse movement than Williams and he's fat.

Sam should be nowhere near Vitali.

Since training with Uli Wegner Sam has been improving very much e.g. footwork, condition and stamina. he almost lost his döner-kebap-belly. did you watch his last fight? he proved everything he needs for a title fight and would easily beat Ruiz,Byrd and Brewster. think against whom these three guys have boxed?

Sam is a national hero in Turkey and about 3 millions Turks live in Germany. I would expect 70,000 spectators. Klitschko alone had already 20,000 spectators in "smaller arenas" for non-title-fights.

the fight takes place in Germany. If he would fight vs Ruiz nobody would be interested, maybe only 5,000 to 10,000 would come. a fight at Schalke wouldbe unrealistic.

This basically tells us that Bubi was not joking when he had Sam at #2 in his great top 10 heavyweights list.
