Yeah I think Fury senior has summed things up pretty well.

Regarding his weight he was a mere 2 lbs lighter than he was for the Wilder fight.

He didn't look in good nick on the scales.

Tyson was saying he's been on the beers in Vegas. I just hope his team don't start becoming yes men to Tyson, he's a very strong character and capable of talking anyone into believing what he wants them to believe. He's good but not unbeatable and cannot take liberties with his training or fights.

On the flip side any unbeaten fighter is dangerous as they have that winning mentality. It was also like a title fight for Wallin, if he won he literally hits the jackpot and is set for life. That gives any fighter an extra edge and normally when upsets happen.

I haven't seen the fight. I'm wondering if Wallin's southpaw stance gave Fury a few problems? I can't think of any other southpaws he's faced.

He fought a few southpaws early on

Yeah I did think he looked quite fat around the middle.

That wasn't the worst performance by Fury. His worst performance was when McDermott beat him by about 5 rounds.

However Fury did look rather poor last night. If the cut would have been the other way around. There's no chance of Wallin being allowed to see the final bell.

The cut came quite early. I think had there been no cut, he would have coasted it. But a cut at anytime in a fight can change a fight completely. And to happen to early, it was unfortunate.

I think in round 2 he switched to southpaw himself just for a bit.

He was around the same weight when he fought Wilder.. maybe 2 pound difference. No issue with his weight. And i’m Sure he was lighter against Wlad.

I think it was simply the cut which changed his performance. He still had some dominant rounds.

He weighed heavier against Schwarz. I think Fury is decent anywhere between 250 to 265..

He looked in better condition for the wilder fight though. The weight might have been similar but his body composition looked different for that fight. This fight it looked like he was carrying more fat.

In no fight did McDermott win five rounds. If you gave him the nod, fair enough, plenty did. But that 'robbery' (the most overused phrase in the sport) was nowhere near as wide as history makes out. I had fury winning the first two and the last two of a ten round fight, with a few middle rounds where it was who's style you liked. McDermotts shots certainly looked the most spectacular no doubt, but five rounds I can't agree on.

True but he’s always got them handles on the side. His front didn’t look too bad at all.

Welcome to the fickle world of boxing , Ben Davison.

Fury’s weight and mindset have never been better lately, thanks to him. Tyson knows how to box by now already.

Fury was the one thinking Otto was gonna be another Swartz knock over... we all did.

Onwards and upwards as they say.

Fame is a double-edged sword

He was happy to take all the plaudits after the Wilder fight - he is never off social media and doing interviews

He must also accept the other side of the coin

I thought McDermott won the fight by a few rounds. The score that fckin ogre Terry O’Connor gave was abysmal.

Very interesting and somewhat convincing. So Fury's dad thought he should have been heavier?

He looked heavier than what the scale said. Tyson's trainer seems to be more of his buddy than a trainer. The other Tyson made a similar mistake.

Yeah, Ben certainly seems like a job for the boys type. Who else has he worked with and brought along?

Fury snr is a bit of a loose cannon though obviously. It could be that he just feels like he’s a bit on the outside looking in.
