I am very much saddened to hear that Robin Nygaard has died and hope that this message, along with the many others to be added, will reach his family.

He was a true and good friend to me when I first joined this website and gave me considerable advice and encouragement in my personal research concerning my dad. His love of the sport was plain to see and willingness to share and give of his time was something I will always remember. When I thanked him for all he had done this is part of the reply I had……

Adding the record was a pleasure, nice to know that people appreciate the work that goes into this site. Have you applied to be an editor on the site? Today is good, weather is beautiful and the geese were honking their way home this morning!! Spring has arrived.

Very sad news

Robin entered 98,621 bouts into the Boxrec database, thats a lot of work.

Lets hope he is in the big Boxing arena in the sky watching Joe Louis sparring Jack Johnson.
