Spence/Pacquiao on the horizon

Spence said after his win inside the ring infront of pac that he wants him. the reasons are obvious since pac is the last legendary boxer that exists in todays all of boxing. does canelo or GGG have legendary status, maybe roman gonzales. i dont know, but pac is one.

The chances are very high Spence is going to beat Porter and pac is The Money fight, will it happen and since pac looked like the pac of ol days since he beat a prime puncher top 4 ww in the world in good fashion.

Spence would muller Pac. I don't want to see that. Too big, too strong, too young. That would be the type of fight Pac could lose his marbles afterwards. No one wants that.
I also couldn't be certain Spence beats Porter.

Pac beat Thurman. wasnt thurman younger, taller, stronger than pac?

sure if pac would brawl it out with spence, than it certainly would be 5 rd tko win spence. but if pac did what he did against oscar, using footwork and doing inside -out, than he could ud spence. still at his age he got superior speed & footwork over spence, mad a fact anybody at ww.

it should be spence or retire. i mean who else should he fight. crawford is a tough fight, danny is a strong puncher, porter is aggressiv and strong. no easy fights anywhere except he chooses to fight outside the top 7 ww, but that wouldnt make no sense money and legacy wise, so than he should call it an end.

Brutal beat down on Pac, a good way to use Manny to boost the top younger PBC welter

The ONLY way they let Pac fight Spence, is if Spence has a close fight with Porter and looks vulnerable. Roach has already said he doesn't want the Spence or Crawford fight. I think Pac will fight Mikey Garcia next.

I wanted to see Pac retire after Thurman.

The only good he's gonna do for the sport by continuing is helping to establish the name of Boxing's NEXT superstar. He shined his last shine last time out, and he won't shine that brightly again, certainly not against Spence.

Maybe Danny Garcia he'd look good against, but Spence? No

They are clearly trying to build Spence into a star, as seen with his last two fights being on PPV despite not being that good, I think they'll try to feed him back and build his name.

He will do everything except fight Crawford.

That's on Crawford.

Spence is signed with a promoter where he has no shortage of big names to fight. He has options for months.

Crawford really has no options. He needs Spence, Spence don't need him.

After Porter I'd say for biggish names Spence has Garcia and Pac at 147, I don't see Thurman fighting him.

Craw doesn't really have anyone though at TR

Nope, it's on the fighter who doesn't want it to happen. This "you're with this promoter" doesn't determine who wants a fight. Tito and Oscar were with different promoters. Oscar and Pacquiao were with different promoters. Crawford says he wants the fight. Spence doesn't seem as sure.

If being with the same promoter makes a fight, why haven't Russell and Santa Cruz fought? Answer that.

If I had Pacquiao. Bigger money, easier fight, higher star building potential next after Porter. I'd be 100% sure I'd rather fight Pacquiao first. Which I'm sure Spence is.

Crawford against Spence will happen someday.

but the money and status fight is against pac.

quiet frankly this would be also more entertaining than against crawford.

I don't really see that. I mean it'll be more entertaining if you like non competitive beatings I guess. If you prefer tension, and a palpable feeling of "Who's gonna get the upper hand" Spence vs Crawford would surely be better.

Spence will have the upper hand every step of the way against Pac.

pac would have a easy night with mikey. mg is slow in every area. he cant hang with pacs reflexes and speed. mikey has no business at ww.

I guarantee you he wouldn't. Pac's always been troubled by counter punchers. Juan Manuel Marquez, Mayweather...now while Mikey may not be in the league of these two. He's in his prime, and he's still a fighter that fights in that sorta style...and he is an Elite operator with that style even if not an ATG.

He'd beat Pac.

Apparently Crawford didn't want the fight with Danny Garcia. They offered Amir Khan a lot more $$$. That fight would have been a good fight.
He wants Spence but won't even fight DG?

It was in a couple of different articles I read before the fight. They offered Khan $5 million, and offered Garcia $3 million. They upped it to $4 million but Garcia still turned it down, and I don't blame him. I also saw Crawford on youtube saying Danny ducked him after he turned down the $3 million offer.

Of note is that it was previously reported by Ring Magazine that Top Rank had offered Danny Garcia (34-2, 20 KOs) $3 million for a Crawford fight, but that they never got a response back, and Garcia will face Adrien Granados in a FOX main event in April. Presumably Khan was offered more money based on his notoriety and as a means of luring him away from the Brook matchup. (copied from the link below)
