Very decent matchup for me

Yeah very interesting bout, the winner will be close to the top 15-20, 50/50 imo, difficult to predict. but from what i've seen of Bakole, he is really decent, and there is no shame in his lose to Hunter.

Bakole would have been a much better choice for Usyk's HW debut than Spong.

Seems kind of decent. Neither one has done very much. But I suppose the winner will be decent.

Yeah. But Bakole looked good vs Wach. Romanov struggled with Bracomente, who had a war vs Allen. So Bakole is a favorite for me.

Tough fight to predict. Sort of leaning towards Bakole.

I lean towards Bakole too but i am not sure how much we can expect from Romanov - I didn't seen much of him.

Romanov looks like a little cruiserweight

Yeah while Bakole is a true HW and that is one of the reasons that makes me lean towards him. He is big but quite elusive and quick, he looks relaxed in the ring and his moves look natural, unlike a lot of the big HWs.

And former Cruiserweight Hunter stopped Takam

Sorry, I'm confused. Are you talking about when Hunter stopped Ustinov, when Hunter stopped Ilunga, when Hunter decisioned Kuzmin, when Povetkin when stopped Takam, or when the Usyk - Takam fight got cancelled? I'm lost either way.

That's true, though Romanov is a stubby 6 footer and his style is to come forward and bully and out strength guys, which I think carries up worse. Every time I see him I can't help but notice how little he is for a HW, obviously size isn't all , but it's an uphill battle.

never, i guess that he meant Bakole but wrote Takam by mistake.

Hunter weights 210-220lbs but he has very good reach and due to his low weight, he has a very decent speed for HW, both foot and hand speed, also, his power is okay, if he would weight more, he would lose weight but i doubt that his punching power would increase significantly. He would weight more, 240lbs or so if he wanted to, but does it really makes sense? Maybe it would have been better for a lot of the heavyweights to lose some 10-20lbs?

Romanov KO'd Wilder in the amateurs. He's ranked #2 in Russia right behind Povetkin. Evgeny Romaniv by KO!

Bakole is the better boxer as far as talent but he gets draggef into fights and gets hit a lot... And Romanov's hook is brutal

Close decision either way. Ultimately a phonebooth type fight.
