Jermall Charlo vs Dennis Hogan on December 7. WTF? When this guy is gonna step up?

Man, I thought Charlo is gonna fight a top fighter although Hogan gave fists to Munguia. Why not a rematch with Korobov? Or move up at 168 lbs where there are a few better fights with his stable mates like Angulo, Benavidez, maybe a fight with Daniel Jacobs if it can be made?

Yeah. But maybe he's paid good for fighting stiffs and he's happy with that. He ain't risking too much.

True.
I think the Korobov fight was a turning point for him and also it was like an unexpected measurement stick type of fight. Now he is trying to stay safe and protect his 'o'.

I don't know who he's supposed to fight, but these opponents aren't interesting. He's like Crawford at 47 with tr.

Angulo?

korobov?

Jacobs is with dazn, like most of the middles. Hopefully charlo can fight Hurd next year.

Angulo beat Quillin which is a better win than anything Charlo has done lately and he is with PBC.
Also Mall has unfinished business with Korobov as their first fight showed clearly.
Jacobs is still listed as a PBC fighter? and even if he is not it would be a grudge type of fight with some animosity. See when Jacobs checked Mall face to face and made that 'lion' meowing. lol
Also Benavidez is with PBC. And he's a top smw fighter with a lot of talent.

Im disagree with Angulo. That guy is totally shot despite his win over Quillin. Decent PBC guys are in 168 lbs.

Charlo would crush Angulo.
Not defending Charlo fighting Hogan but to mention Angulo is insanity. Quillin quite obviously has nothing left. His legs are gone.

Then who beat Charlo lately that is a better win than Quillin? Adams, Centeno Jr, Heiland?

I won't mention Korobov because Charlo could not beat him.

I think it was a similar perception about Quillin before the fight with Angulo but guess what? He didn't 'crush' Angulo.
Ohhh btw:

It's a step up from Heiland, Centeno and Adams.

If not then go for Benavidez/ Dirrell winner or Jacobs.

Hogans walking away from the fight with the title like he should have against Munguia. Another irish champion

Guys get old overnight. We saw it with Quillin. There was nothing in the JLeon Love fight to suggest it would happen, but it happened. Charlo is in his prime.

After seeing his brother lose what was supposed to be an easy one. Maybe never.
Even though his brother didn't actually deserve to lose. Which made it all the more surprising.

At the top of their games Mall is the better brother. He did have a bad night vs Koro, but I believe he is getting lacklustre in part because of the uninspiring opposition. Happens to a lot of guys.

I don't know that Quillin "got old overnight" against Angulo, he just had no answer whatsoever to his pressure, and other than backing away and jabbing had virtually nothing in his tank all fight.
It was a stunningly poor performance.

Lines are being crossed now for good fights. Jermall should fight Jacobs.

Reminded me of how certain I was that Arreola was gonna beat Stiverne's ass in the 1st fight.
When that failed I posted a gif of this as a mockery of myself.
It was appropriate again for how I talked about Quillin-Angulo

That would be sad and poor for boxing.
