All of you are talking about Spence and Crawford.
Let me tell you all that the man many dont want to fight is Luis Collazo.
I think this is a very dangerous underrated fighter.
Thoughts?

He is excellent as a gatekeeper but not very relevant to the top guys

Why the hell would they want to fight him? They'd get no credit for beating him and it would sell awfully.

Khan took him apart, and I see him as a gatekeeper at best too.

His next fight vs Kudratillo is the exact place where he's interesting and relevant...testing an unbeaten guy.

i remember he gave hatton a good fight ...... 13 years ago!

Super fans of regular fighters are fine. Delusional ones I can do without.

Collazo is a solid operator and is still capable of beating a fair few fringe contenders.

But to mention him in the same paragraph as Spence and Crawford is giving him far too much credit.

He is 38 years old. Once he was, but not anymore.

Boxrec has him at 38th at welter. At best hes about 20th

But yeah total sleeper a light puncher 38 year old

At this point Collazo is just a guy that used to be a name for the other guys in the division to potentially fight if they need a tune up or whatever.

Like Thurman used him for instance.

He's a good fighter. His best days are certainly behind him. He did seem to get sold a little short in his heyday, and has maintained a solid level of skill as he's aged, but he's really never been much better than a lower Top 10 contender on his best day. I doubt he's Top 20 anymore.

Maybe match him with Josesito and find out.
