I've checked this fighter's profile and the info on him is minimal. He is from Yeovil Town in Somerset and his trainer is Chris Sanigar of Bristol. That's all i know.

Sounds about right. Last seasons ABA champ in a weak division. Still, you can only beat what's in front of ya!

I had front row tickets for Sanigar's show (Leigh Allis v Valery Odin...what a fight :D ) and was really impressed by Guthrie.

A natural puncher if ever I saw one, but contrary to what some say Guthrie showed a nice style (in the short time it lasted) , but what really impressed was the way Dan boxed in such a calm manner. New pro's can often try too hard, but not Guttrie.

He clearly wasn't looking for the knockout but one lapse of concentration by Phillips and Gutrie instinctively let go a lovely left hook and poor Mark really went down with a thud.

Sanigar even came over and apologised to Phillips and seemed to be a bit gutted that Guthrie had made such an impact on his debut (probably already thinking ahead about matching him).

Sanigar is hoping to match Guthrie on the Scott Dann show in Plymouth on 4th Feb,
