You mean selling his opponent's fake punches. That's the main thing. Can't make it in the wrasslin world if your ego is too big to sell your opponent.

Yeah he said he got the idea for his act from the famous wrestler Gorgeous George.

Usually the injuries are the result of the steady grind of match after match for months on end. One match isn't likely to cause anything too serious, and the exposure and notoriety he'll get from it is probably worth the risk.Ilya Muromets wrote: ↑10 Oct 2019, 14:36

Yeah he needs a gimmick if he's going to be a wrestler. I'd go for a stereotype old Irish Traveler gypsy gimmick, fixing tin pans and swiping stuff from his opponent. His wife could be at ringside telling fortunes (or is that just the Romani? - doesn't matter, do it anyway!). Forget about boxing. Switch them all over to wrasslin. Boxing's been leading in that direction for a long time now, ever since Clay with his Gorgeous George act, with fights that are fixed up almost as bad as the choreographed scripts in wrasslin, fake refs, ring doctors, judges, commentator shills, an announcer with "dreadlocks" down to his ass, gimmicked up show biz pressers, staged fights in the hallway, and ring entrances fit for showgirls in Las Vegas!
